i haven't even realized the difference between contouring and bronzing after i bought the benefit's hoola bronzer. i'm stupid af, but that's my fault for not knowing much on how face makeup works lol.

I'm a hairstylist(master designer) at ULTA in Edgewater, NJ and can I just say I SWEAR by your reviews. It's always a tease when we get products in and everyone wants it ( I wish we sold Kat von D). Agreed. I would really like your opinion on the KVD Shade and Light eye palette. I really want to buy it, but then I already have a lot of neutral shadows that I love. Would love to know if it's worth it. Cheers.

I am planning on using up all of my make-up and invest in cruelty free stuff. So maybe you dont have to buy it when allready have eye shadows but when you will need a new one, you should consider Kat Von D's. I will at least.

so glad you brought up the anastasia palette!! i was confused by it too since i thought it was too warm, but i only recently got into makeup so i wasn't sure if i was right. thank you for confirming what i believed! now i'm definitely regretting not getting the kvd one though haha also, would love to see a makeup collection video!!

I wish KVD would make them in highlight/contour duos. I love her things but i hate shovelling out 45$ just for 2 shades bc im so pale(The pinky highlight and the cool contour)

I have a moogle tattoo :p And yeah, I can't afford anything that's not at the drugstore but I still like learning about these products so I can talk about them with other people. It does seem like a ripoff sometimes when a single is like 40 and a pallet of 6 is like 50-something.

The shades are actually similar enough to each other that I can get use out of all of them. I use the lightest contour in winter/when my hairs cool toned, the medium for when I have warmer hair and a slight tan, and the deepest one I can actually use as a with one of the other two to blend it out if I want a more precise contour. The only shade I can't get use out of for my face is the deepest highlight, but it's wonderful for certain eye looks.

OMG I have so much to say about this brand! They had previously LIED about ingredients on their label! I know because I saw one day a cleanser I was using had different ingredients. So I called to see if they reformulated and they said no. I'm like, well that's impossible. But it makes sense because they didn't list any preservatives or anything and I was curious how they would not go bad. (If anyone has info that they DID reformulate and the person I spoke to was wrong, please let me know because it does change things.) But I personally think they were just not being transparent because I broke out to some of their products that I later found out had ingredients I can't tolerate but they weren't listed. I also notice they don't use actual rose or rosewater in their rosewater spray, it's just fragrance. Things like that. I can't trust this brand even though I wanted to like their stuff because some of it was nice if it wasn't for the fillers and secrets.

Hi Stephanie, I have almost exactly the same colouring as you do and I have the KVD Shade & Light palette too. You've shown me how to use all three of the contour shades (thank you!), I use the lightest highlight shade to highlight, the yellow shade to set my undereye concealer but I've yet to find a use for the peach shade. Can I ask what it is you do? x

I just discovered you through Lily Melrose, and I'm going through all of your videos! Your reviews are fantastic. I'm curious: do you put bronzer and highlight on the same place? It seems like both go on the cheekbone, aka where the sun hits.

You said that if you blend it down, it will just make you look gray or taupe-y. While that is somewhat true, many people do blend down. When done correctly, it gives you a more pointed chin and what's known as a "V line"! It's extremely common in East/South-East Asia!

Greetings! If it's feasible please speak a little in any one of your videos about an ingredient called hydroquinone. My dermatologist has prescribed me a whitening cream along with other treatments for acne vulgaris and hydroquinone seems to be the first ingredient in it. I have heard of the side effects of this chemical and would love it if you could speak a little about it; just the pros and cons. Thanks. Love from Nepal.

Why do makeup companies put al these colors in one palette knowing most of the colors won't be used. Like why not let people pick colors they want in their palette that way it's less wasteful? Sell any empty 4 slot palette and sell pans individually. I mean I know they do similar things like this with a Z palette but you can put whatever in there. I'm talking like this is just for shade and light products. Anyone do anything like that?

The makeup look that your rocking in this video is beautiful.Before you used the pallette on your face your skin looked dewy and gorgeous, and after you used it you still looked gorgeous just a bit matte and obviously contoured.

Am I the only one that found this a tad chalky and dusty? I also hit pan really quickly when I wasn't even using it everyday. I'm glad so many people love it though!
