I feel they've done the opposite. the last album had some excellent tracks like Elevate, Fire, Like Animals and Under Lawless Skies which all had surprising elements and variation. It was also well executed. This whole album feels like a rehash of the last aside from a couple standout tracks like Vindication

Freddy Gerhardt Denken? Warum nicht überzeugt sein? Komisch, dass dieses Video mit dem Lied nicht bei dir ankam. Meiner Meinung nach, eines der tiefgründigsten Lyrics von denen - was ich so kenne. Das Video geht da Hand in Hand mit. Selstverständlich. Ich meinte nicht zu fragen, ob dir der Klang mal so irgentwie ganz bisschen gut gefällt. Es geht um den Ausdruck der Musik als Ganzes! Du hast das Video mit hocher Wahrscheinlichkeit sehr halbherzig gesehen. Du bist wohl der "größte Kataklysm-Fan" aller Zeiten. Aber weißt du was: Die Menschen sind durch ihren Konsum-Lebenssstil mit Allem halbherzig geworden. Also scheiß doch drauf. (Zufälligerweise geht es in dem Lied gerade um solche Aspekte, dass die Menschen wie Parasiten sind und nur jammern, anstelle es selber besser zu machen...) Naja, höre lieber stumpferes Zeug wie Cannibal Corpse. Da bist du wohl eher in deiner Welt xD

Dass Freddy das Video nicht gefällt, ist kein Indiz dafür, dass seine Intelligenz den Ansprüchen dieser Band und ihrer Songtexte nicht gerecht wird.
