In this vlog, I will take you guys to the most scenic waterfall of Maharastra. This waterfall comes to life in the monsoon, which makes it a must-visit destination in the Monsoon.
Kataldhar waterfall trek is in the Ulhas Valley, on the same trek route that leads to the famous Rajmachi Fort. It is a seasonal waterfall that takes you on a beautiful journey through the dense forest of the Sahyadri mountain range in Maharashtra.
In this video, I will guide you on how to reach Kataldhar waterfall, Lonavala.
First, make your way to Lonavala. Which is 60 Km from Pune and 80 Km From Mumbai.
From here, you have two options. The first is to drive to the starting point of the waterfall, which is 12 km away. If you have a car, that's great! Otherwise, you can take an auto-rickshaw for around 400-500 rupees.
The second option is to walk to the waterfall. The option which I choose. I started moving towards Kataldhar waterfall from Lonavala Railway station.
The pedestrian road goes through a shortcut, but it's still 7 km, Which will take around one and a half hours to reach.
The road to the starting point of Kataldhar Waterfall goes through the forest; this trail will take your adrenaline to a whole different level.
Once you reach the starting point, you'll need to pay a 20 Rs entry fee and begin your trek to the waterfall. The trail is challenging but easy to navigate, with signs such as water bottles and other objects to guide you along the way.
Coming here all alone was one of the best decisions of my life.
