My name is Katarina Jardim, and I'm from Johannesburg, South Africa. I’m proud to represent the South African U17A field hockey team, and I’ve been competing at the provincial level with Eastern Gauteng for 4 years. In 2024, our team took the silver medal at the National Tournament (outdoor).
I also play club hockey for Northside Griffins in the Johannesburg Hockey League (JHL), where I captained our team to win the Pullen and Howell Cup, as well as secure the silver medal for the 2024 season. At school, I captain the 1st team at St Dominic's Catholic School for Girls.
Academically, I’m dedicated and have maintained a GPA of 3.9, consistently ranking in the top 10 in my grade. I’m currently serving as the Deputy Head Girl, Student Executive Leader, and Head of House for 2024/25.
My goal is to join a top-tier U.S. university for both academics and field hockey in the Fall of 2026.
