My daughter is Named after her she is now 13 . Everyone loves her name because its so unique . She is also named after E Katarina Gordeeva My husbands 2 favorite Ice skaters.. No matter how old she gets she will always be our Princess. We Love the Katarinas ... Amazing !
Sandra keeps mentioning her lack of technical ability but there is a lot of content in this programme beyond the jumps. Great spins and footwork. And I would choose the technical brilliance and flow of this programme over the sloppy, scrappy figure skaters of today who can barely do a proper double Axel. Katarina was pure class in every way from a bygone era. RIP figure skating.
Wow...we've just seen her here in UK on "Dancing on Ice"...she is bright and very funny with it. I now see she is a talented dancer of course foremost!! Thank you for sharing the clip. PS Gorgeous too..it's all good!

Alexander Gudonov taught Katarina to skate in the 1960's much older than as presented. Alex died the same time as David Earl Burgert but Katarina gave a different statement than murder to hide it from the Russians. Alex was into designing rifles a shipment headed for Ugoslavia may have been the reason for his death and Katarina lost the bail posted in On Canada when Alex was caught crossing with an illegal rifle ?1978?
