The Queen instantly sweeping away the scandal and reminding everyone that what she says is what goes, so they'd better obey like good little lap dogs, is just beautiful. And she kills multiple birds with one stone in doing so: she rescues the Bridgertons and Lady Danbury from social ruin, gives public approval of a true love match that appeals to her sensibilities, discredits Lady Whistledown by implying she was wrong about gossip details and potentially gains the season's diamond for her own family by matching Edwina with Prince Friedrich.
You know, by the following week, people of the ton were all hoping for a wedding invitation. I can imagine Lady Danbury and Violet greeting guests and probably making snide comments, especially to Cressida and her mother.
❤❤❤ I am on my eighth attempt at watching S3E1 without falling totally asleep. S2: Two fabulous actors, Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey. S3 is laborious, the saving grace being the momentary seconds of Kate and Anthony, otherwise, dull, dull, dull..
She is absolutely stunning! He's gay though; I suspect that the chemistry comes from them being mates! That first scene when she's riding her horse 🐎 - fire works❤
@@briannacripps3065yes! I've just watched this for the first time since watching queen Charlotte and it really is so similar to that beautiful scene. It made me cry watching it with that context
Ohhh! Now after seeing Queen Charlotte the fact that her face changes as she is watching them staring at each other and tuning the rest of the world out during their dance together makes it even more magnificent!
After watching Queen Charlotte’s story just released on Netflix, I came back to this scene because Charlotte knew just by their dance that there is a story of their own just as Queen Charlotte & King George had, their relationship is something worth fighting for and will never be understood by others so she spoke up and Edwina doing the same made Charlotte like her even more to want to match her with her nephew. 1:05 - 2:01 I loved seeing Charlotte and George’s story come to life along with the other stories in the Bridgerton World. Thanks for uploading.
I said that she was seeing her love with George through the Bridgerton's. I mean, she probably heard the rumors about Simon/Daphne living separately as well. Her facial expression when Lady Danbury made everyone leave Simon and Daphne's party. It probably also reminded her of marriage to George and how they also lived separately and loved each other more because of it. She just smiled and walked off. Same with Kate and Anothny.
LOL the way Queen Charlotte just shuts them down and Edwina swooping in to save her sister! Man, also Kate leans in to touch Anthony with her lips first and he nearly relents till he remembers how many people are already gawking at him. She really followed his advice to forget the others!
I'm crying, it was so beautiful. How he said no one else matters, Showing that they only see each other, like the room faded away and they were the only ones there!
I am little late in Bridgerton world but i simply loved this particular dance a loottttt.. their emotions, their body language, their costumes .. everything.. simply magical.. the music just enhanced their story, their emotions, and the trials they had to go through to be here in this moment to another level.. this dance hits differently with this wonderful violin version of wrecking ball..everything just fitting so well which made this a beautiful masterpiece..
Keep in mind y'all anthony and kate met on the edge of the Danbury and Bridgerton properties.. the same place lady Danbury met with violets dad when she was a widow.
I wonder if the fact that Edwina’s dress is the exact same shade of pink and is complimentary to the Queen’s dress has any meaning. I know they love having meaning behind color choices.
Everyone walks off the dance floor, The Queen was like I canceled the wedding, why isnt anyone dancing? Everyone scurries to the dance floor. Gotta love her word is final. If she says to support the Bridgerton's they all would be making calls to visit and bringing gifts by the end of the week. Hoping for an invitation to Anthony and Kate's wedding 😂
If you have seen Queen Charlotte A Bridgerton Story, then you'll notice in this scene that it looks as if Queen Charlotte is reminiscing. Also, Cressida and her mother looked a little jealous when the Queen wanted to introduce Edwina to her nephew.
Contains SPOILERS FROM SPIN -OFF - TRAILER I wonder if there's going to be a specific dancing scene between Charlotte and George in the Spin - Off, that the Queen is reminded of here. Or if it's just a general memory of her and him. Or something else. Also, apparently her personal assistant( not sure what the title of his role is) is also in the Spin - Off and he looks at the Queen as she starts to smile. He can't see the smile, but I wonder if he also thinks about her and King George :)
There is and I absolutely love it!! The moment she says the same thing to the king that Anthony told Kate (“keep your eyes on me. Nothing else matters” or something along those lines) it made me instantly think of this scene and I love it!
@@moiralouiseburreThanks for pointing that out :) I watched that moment between Charlotte and George and didn't make the connection. So thank you for commenting :)
@@RB-km4om glad to help! If you want to know it’s in the final episode when they dance together in front of the kingdom for their ball that they planned. I just can’t stop thinking about them

No, because Edwina didn’t marry the prince. She went back to India with Mary and married someone who loves the outdoors there. We hear about this from Kate in part 2. Her match abroad was back in India.
Who knew that Miley Cyrus's pop song, "Wrecking Ball' could be turned into a beautiful symphonic piece? Queen Charlotte doesn't always show the softer part of herself. It comes out in moments like this, when she appears to be hiding it, but the audience knows.
It's a version of the song " Wrecking Ball". Oh, and if you don't mind, it's actually " I want to know the name of this melody" or maybe " I want to know this melodies name" ;)
@@RB-km4om Don’t want this to come across rudely, sorry if it does. It’s “I want to know this melody’s name.” “Melodies” is the plural form. “Melody’s” is possessive.
