Maybe it's just me but I honestly think it's so poetic that they never got together. Imagine a love that is so genuine, and once in a lifetime that subjecting it to a romantic relationship does not even do it justice. It is so pure that it transcends our own imposed meanings and expectations of love, partnerships, and relationships altogether. You can have a love of your life (like they are to each other), without ever being romantically involved. And I think that is absolutely beautiful.

Everyone's mourning that these two aren't a couple in real-life, but that's what's so beautiful about this. They'll never fight or get divorced. They'll love each other forever, guaranteed. Friendships, especially long-term ones like this, can be more meaningful & fulfilling than any relationship.

Titanic(1997) remains the best movie of all time FOR ME. I’ve seen it so many times but it still invoke the same emotions out of me every single time like the first time. One of the reason I love it so much is because of them (Kate & Leo), they portrayed Rose and Jack so well. I’m glad that they remain really good friends.

@@xpatriciadanielle I'm sure that's true sometimes. But I can say for sure when me and my boyfriend were living apart I could miss him. I enjoyed seeing him and spending time with him. But when we moved in together, I had to deal with all of his habits and he had to deal with mine. I didn't enjoy being around him as much anymore lol.

I've always believed that Soulmates didn't necessarily mean romantic love. And they are to me at least, Soulmates. The relationship they have evolved over the years, the way they brighten when they talk about the other. The way you can tell they truly love each other as people.

Maybe the reason that Leo is such a player moving from one girlfriend to another and not committing or opening his heart to anyone is because his soulmate is Kate and they are like star crossed lovers in real life. Maybe their fears and ego is getting in the way of truly expressing their love in a natural way and they’re expected to put in a big show. They really just are better off being two regular people spending time together and enjoying each others’ company rather than these grandiose declarations of love

Revolutionary Road was their best work. It was an incredible film that showcased their acting skills in a totally different light. Even though their relationship was so very dark and troubled they still had amazing chemistry. And kudos to them for bringing in Kathy Bates into this film. I loved her connection to Leo in Titanic. I think kate winslet was the only woman leonardo dicaprio ever really loved...they would've been a perfect couple. Whenever I see them together I can see the love they have towards each other.❤️❤️
If he loved her like that, he would have married her. Leo likes the model-type of girls, has wandering eyes and will be a bachelor until he’s George Clooney’s age, so I don’t think they would have done well together.
Arwen yes, dear - she is. But if a man wants a 5 foot 10 girl who weighs 125 pounds and is half his age, then she won’t measure up. Not saying it’s right or wrong, but people have types and they will rarely deviate from those preferences. They are better as friends given Leo’s playboy lifestyle.
Kate is such a beautiful, kind, and quite funny woman. She ages beautifully too, as does Leo. I love the relationship they have together, I feel like they seriously have more of a romantic relationship than some couples I know. The support, the genuine love, and the respect they have after all these years is amazing.
