I think Kate's on the right path here. She has to give Lucy space and earn her trust back through her actions. Lucy needs time and that's valid. I'm enjoying the angst in the meantime, the way Kate looks like a deer in headlights or a lost puppy when she sees Lucy is 🥺🥺🥺. Y'all need to calm down and appreciate how sweet it'll make it when they finally get back together. Adult relationships aren't always a kiss and make-up before bedtime situation..

Awwww all these comments hating on Lucy or Whistler🥺Repairing broken trust & relationships takes time y’know! I quite want Lucy and Kate to be back together. However, I get it that it will take some time before Lucy comes around because after all, Whistler lied to her and had a legit gf while she was with Lucy. That is a huge loss of trust and it will take time to re-build. I feel once Lucy has this huge breakdown, Kate will fully apologize and they will be back together.

And saying she ‘had a full girlfriend’ Uhm no. In her heart and in her mind she did not have a girlfriend, she thought their relationship was over the moment she arrived on the island, we don’t know how bad things were between her and Cara in DC, plus her and Lucy didn’t discuss past relationships and didn’t said they were exclusive. Poor communication skills, dumb af behavior yes. But let’s not act like she was willingly going around cheating and hurting people, being nasty af and shady. She fcked up no doubt, and essentially brought this on herself, she’s responsible for it but she’s holding herself accountable for her mistake (as she should). She needs to apologize, and she will, then maybe things will get better for them.

I love angst. The more angst the better. This is just a build up to an explosive boiling point that make the outcome sweet. I manifest that Whistler will be in danger and Lucy come in and save her then they celebrate in each other’s arms.

Lucy, you're really good at avoiding anything that Kate can talk about what she want, I can't blame you're hurt and it takes time to fully reconcile things. The angst is killing me, as much I want you to reconcile soon,..let it take it course naturally.

In the end Lucy will accept Whistler's apology and decide just to be friends. The writers will keep on dragging this storyline just to keep the fans hooked on to the show.

I do get the losing trust thing but it's not like Kate was actively in a relantionship, I mean she wasn't sleeping with someone else when she wasn't with Lucy, she wasn't like with Lucy in the morning and the girlfriend in the afternoon. She made a mistake, sure, but IMO the mistake was more with the former girlfriend than with Lucy. Being pissed, yeah I get it but the way they play it does not correspond to the mistake IMHO.

But y’all forget that Lucy was with her the morning that she got a text from her ex yet Whistler still decided to keep it a secret from her. Then y’all seem to forget the suspicious phone interaction that Whistler had in episode 7 when she was being cold to Lucy at work.
