I agree completely. Can I also put in a word for Health Visitors. My son was a big baby, always hungry and hardly slept plus I had a three year old daughter to care for. My Health Visitor was brilliant and I told her so. This was a long time ago but I have never forgotten her and will always be grateful. Deena, if you're out there I wish you well and sending hugs.
I love how it wasn't even the midwife who called Kate's attention, she was just clapping just like everyone else but Kate immediately saw her and hugged her

I love how Duchess Catherine stopped and HUGGED the midwife when she recognised her . She didn't just stop, smile to her and shake her hand. And i can tell that was a genuine hug from the duchess if it wasn't for the thing she was holding in her other hand she would have hugged her even harder. That's so sweet it shows how kind and appreciative she is. Love you Catherine you are so beautiful inside and out!
@@nunyabiznez6381 Yes, and it made the whole situation so much more genuine and heartfelt! She proved yet again that she's an amazing person eventhough she generally can't hug people. It's not like she doesn't want to, it's just the protocol.
@@Wow.69 husband of Queen of England is not bestowed the title of King or King Consort, however the spouse of the King can have the title Queen Consort bestowed upon her. Which implies that if Charles becomes the king then Camella may become Queen Consort. 🙂 But she won't be the Queen in sense of Queen Elizabeth 2
I feel Kate is very much like Diana maybe more , and probably stronger emotionally aswell ( without any disrespect to Diana ) That's why I said she will become a good queen when the day comes ( touchwood)
She didn't just help deliver Charlotte, she also helped with George. When William, Catherine and George left St Mary's, she was standing outside along with other hospital staff so she and Catherine must be very familiar with one another. No doubt she helped with Louis too who at this time Catherine was pregnant for ❤ It was such a lovely interaction
Now that was really cool and sweet to stop and embrace and chat with the woman who helped deliver her baby. Just being normal! Saying hi to a familiar person who has a significant place in your memory & heart. Who cares about protocol & rules. Being a human being is more important.
Thats right she is so kind and polite. She was so grateful for that lady and rmmbrd how she helped her during her delivery and just did what any kind woman would do. She is such a beautiful person it shows how she was raised to appreciate and respect every person .
How lovely!!! The fact that she see hundreds or more people a year, and she remembers and spots the midwife just goes to show she does care and appreciate people. So many people feel that the Royal Family are a waste of money and time, but we all forget what they represent all of us in the UK and Commonwealth and what they bring into the countries they represent.
@@attelid Well, it definitely creates a special bond! But it's the fact that she meets so many people on a dily basis, yet she could still remember this lovely lady's face and she must've been in such pain when delivering her daughter. And she still remembered who was there for her that day.

Just another reason why I have always liked Kate! She is definitely more down to earth than some other senior Royals! This was the first video I seen today and I’m not disappointed!!! The midwifes face with her surprised look when Kate hugged her and it looked like she said “you still remember me?” Touched my heart! Kate is gonna be an amazing Queen when William becomes King one day! I’m an American but I’ve always liked learning about the Queen and the rest of the Royal Family. My mom even took me to England so I could see Buckingham Palace and I swear I would love to go visit again one day! 🙏🏻🙏🏻💙💙💙
I love that Kate isn't the type of person who thinks she's too posh to greet people who have served her in the past. Makes me like her even more. Can't stand people who only acknowledge celebrities and rich/influential people

This is a beautiful moment between two women who shared something so wonderful as childbirth. So touching and Kate is kind and grateful person that is going to make a perfect Queen. I hope I live to see the day.

Mari When William is King, Kate will be known as the Queen Consort as her title so I think that's what is meant. I have no doubt she will make an exceptional one as she is a wonderful human being,
Mari you're welcome!. Yes the wife/husband of the monarch is known either as the Queen Consort or the King Consort so although Prince Philip was the Duke of Edinburgh, as the Queens husband he was also the King Consort. Glad to help. 😀
My goodness!! What an amazing person is Catherine. Status has no bounds with her. Hugging the midwife who delivered Charlotte brought tears to my eyes. William & his children are the luckiest to have a wife & mother such as the amazing Catherine. Can’t help but love & admire her more & more.

I gave birth to my first child in the same hospital. I had a Jamaican midwife and she was Amazing! Couldn’t of asked for a better more supportive and funny person to get me through three long days of labour. St Mary’s Hospital West London 👏🏼👏🏼

You're funny Shannon, William was cheating on Kate with her best friend. He didn't really want to marry Kate. That's why he made her wait so long; however, he was persuaded to marry Kate. And yes, Kate has been doing her royal duties by giving birth to the future thorn. She has not been known to do much else since marring William, so don't try to place her on a higher pedal stool above Megan. Kate will never be able to out shine Megan by her own merits because she did little to nothing but wait for William to marry her. She seems to be nice on the outside, but don't compare her to Megan because Megan outshines Kate as soon as you start trying to cut her down.
