The Duchess of Cambridge visits Little Village hub in north-west London to hear how the baby bank is supporting local families and providing essential items for young children. Kate has a passion for nurturing early childhoods and launched the Centre for Early Childhood last year. During the visit, Her Royal Highness was very taken with two young children, and remarked: “I keep thinking Louis is my little baby and he’s my proper boy now.”

I know, not a day off but then again she was taught by the Queen and she, like the Queen seems to understand that they are privilaged and they understand that normal people have a tough life. They get up, smile and they will have a good holiday in private. Kate is a smart girl

I like the fact that she seems so very switched on. It's obvious she is highly intelligent and engaged in whatever issues she is addressing. Seems a very down to earth person who is very grounded. I have great respect for the way she treats people and conducts her duty. A credit to herself and the British people.

@@dianaulun951 Prince Charles got a History, Archeology and Anthropology Degree in 1970 after studying for 3 years at Trinity College, Cambridge. His youngest brother Prince Edward received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1986 - also at Cambridge. The Queen was home-schooled as was the norm for Royalty; which is why Charles was the first to attend university. Princess Diana failed her O-level examinations and did not attend any tertiary education - and neither did Harry who is on record as being a 'weak student'.

@@jillosler9353 Reportedly, later in life Diana regretted skipping all the educational opportunities she had on offer when young. For instance, she was sent to a very posh finishing school in Switzerland to learn French. There were fines for speaking in English, but she just shrugged them off & refused to even attempt French. She knew her father was wealthy & could pay them. As Princess of Wales, she was embarrassed to have to have interpreters in France, while her husband just rattled on quite naturally. Too late! 🇫🇷

@@silva7493 i think that's one reason why she looks so much more affectionate+connected towards Louis. Her third pregnancy was really hard but she never made a fuss about it because of her "privilege". instead, decided to dedicate herself in early care. Only public speeches don't make an icon, your action does.
