Prince William and Princess of Wales Kate Middleton looked elegant as they attended the wedding reception of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and his new wife Rajwa Al-Saif. The royal couple, 40 and 41, who were representing the British Royal Family, greeted the newlyweds at the wedding reception in the Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman, Jordan, after attending the ceremony yesterday. Kate dazzled in a 'Georgia' gown by designer Jenny Packham - a gold, shimmering, long-sleeved dress costing around £5,000, paired with what appeared to be the Lover's Knot Tiara. Meanwhile, Prince William was dapper in a suit and tails.

Because whoever marries into the English royal family doesn’t earn titles, you’d have to be born into the family to have a title. If you remember Philip, was referred by “prince” and not “king”, he wouldn’t even have “prince” if he wasn’t already a royal. As for the title of “princess of Wales”The only princess of Wales is Diana. She wasn’t even supposed to be called a princess, but people loved her too much and referred to her as the people’s princess.

Before she became a fiancee of the Crown Prince, Rajwa is already friends with the younger members of the Spencer family, notably Louis, Viscount Althorp and through him, she's also friends with the then Duke and Duchess of Cambridge now The Prince and Princess of Wales.

Who is Kate Middleton, I know of Catherine Princess of Wales, BUT KATE MIDDLETON STOPPED USING THAT NAME WHEN SHE MARRIED PRINCE WILLIAM, HAVE SOME RESPECT AND GIVE HER, HER CORRECT NAME AND TITLE. EVEN THO YOU ARE NOT A VERY REPUTABLE PAPER, IMO.

From my understanding, it's due to Royal protocol - The person who ranks higher goes first. That's why QEII was always before Prince Philip. That said, I've noticed that William and Catherine are pretty relaxed about this rule and only follow it during official events - like this wedding. In a lot of their engagements, William lets Catherine go first, which confused me at first before I learned that they want to be informal in a lot of contexts.
