Thanks for the fabulous tutorial! I wouldn't have known where to start without you. It took me two tries, but I got it looking the way I had hoped. Instead of the bun, I made large loops to mimic the original style more. This wasn't that hard. I set the bottom hair with a curling iron, did the Dutch braids, then pinned the loops to give the effect of the hair peeking out from under the braids.

I've been watching your videos for a while now. I learned how to do a fishtail braid through you. The other day at work my friend and i were bored so i offered to do a fishtail braid in her hair. Now all the girls at my work keep asking my to do their hair on my lunch and breaks. iWe even joked about my "charging for my services" lol!

It's better than saying "that rounded area on the back of your head, that starts at the top/crown...etc." Nothing wrong with a little vocabulary. ;)

Do you have any advice for hair that is really thick and straight? Mine is like that, and I don't know why but teasing is completely useless beacuse it just won't get any volume. I love this updo!
