Damn. That interviewer was so rude. You can obviously tell he just wants her to let it go. Show her his tattoos? Really? Completely irrelevant. Of course he's not going to take off his shirt on public television to show off a tattoo he got for ex-girlfriend, with his current sitting right there. Friken jumping all over him grabbing his hands trying to prove there were tattoos there. Good god, woman, calm down. That was really awkward. Johnny handled it very well, as always of course.
I believe this was very long ago when he was being hounded and just wanted to be left alone. He went on the show to promote help for his charity and it turned into his relationship, which he wanted to keep private. He's a very gracious, generous person, he was just young and fed up back then.
I really didn't think I'd like her but she seems nice. I've had meetings with her and had to arrange lunches (she eats - amazing I know!) and taxis for her - you would expect someone of her level not to care or to be rude....but she's always been incredibly sweet and grateful to me. I was so surprised. And this video is way too cute!
In the lead up to the interview, they actually phoned him and woke him up and he came straight to the studio. So... tired? Definitely. Hungover? Likely. On cocaine? Doubt it.
Oh Johnny Depp that was terrible-LOL-when he joked about the lady getting a divorce! Heheh! But I don't blame em though. The lady made it kinda awkward trying to reach over and take off his jacket to see the tatoos, or jumping ahead with marriage implications, and digging too deep about their relationship. Invasion of privacy! I'd get cynical too! My favorite part is 3:39 xD Hilarious!
he's being very polite to the interviewer actually, you can tell he's pissed though when he says it's a little new at this point, and at the end when he says, and when you get married, so funny.

he isnt so much shy, more like he doesnt like spilling his whole life story on camera. if he shares everything about himself then theres nothing left for him. gaah this is not a hard concept. you should see interviews of him when he was younger and naive, hes all excited and talks an insane amount and is really animated. he just grew up and realized a few things, thats all.

Wow. I'm so glad that he cleaned up. I mean, he's always been amazing but you can see the underlying troubles in his eyes and mannerisms. I love Johnny :) He's so fantastic, and I wish him all the best.
Kate has always looked stunning. She does not do many interviews and you can see why - Martin Heidegger she is not. It does not help that she comes from Croydon which is the armpit of the universe.
@ those who are criticising Gaby (interviewer) the Big Breakfast usually finished at 9am and had a special extension BECAUSE Kate called Johnny and he agreed to come in (but couldn't get there for 9am), hence Gaby is focussing on him rather than Kate, as Kate had already been interviewed quite heavily. This was a LONG time ago, and interviews with him were very rare as he was even more shy then than he is now... hence the awkwardness.
he's intelligent in his own way. that's one of the many things i like about him...he has his own way of thinking and it's like nobody could really understand him...except maybe vanessa and tim lol
if you watch earlier interviews with him, he was just as intelligent and articulate as he is nowadays, but when he feels irritated he usually behaves defensively arrogant and gives a cynical "I don't give a flying f*ck" vibe
She obviously latched onto Pete Doherty as an attempted replacement for Johnny. Trouble is Johnny is 10 times better looking and a much, much nicer person also. He probably didn't want to talk about his 'Winona Forever' tattoo in front of Kate, lol.

Johnny looks adorable as always. I think the reason it didn't work between Kate and Johnny was because it was simply not the right time. Johnny says he was party a lot at the time. They fought a lot, but still cares for Kate. She's just not the girl for him. He's happy now with his family. I am happy for him, whoever he dates, falls in love with, or someday marries. He deserves the best, he's a sweet man.
kate looks so beautiful on here, now she's always so tiredlooking. she's young and fresh in here. Johnny is still hot, but it seems he's getting hotter when he's getting older.
