Stuart has perfected William’s “I am so done” stare. Love it! 😂 Kate and Stuart have wonderful chemistry that they easily bring the sharp and witty dialogue to life. Love the show and can’t wait for more.

Briliant show. Deserves a bigger channel and audience but perhaps it has a better chance of survival if Alibi are not chasing ratings. Both geat actors as well as supporting cast, going to be very interesting to see how these characters and relationships develop.

Absolutely love this show. Stuarts portrayal of william is Hugh Jackman though and though. Kate is superb as the gutsy Iliza. It's nice to see Stuart so nervous in this interview as opposed to his character of gruff william. Kate having to deal with corsets and hair not moving is a skill in itself. LOL Great they have their actual accents. lol

Stuart hardly looks like the same guy as the Duke. He's so happy looking and William's so serious. Fab actor! They both are. Looking forward to season 2.

She is 31 and he is 35. I like they are both of an even age and she isn't 10 years younger than him, which they do often in TV series.

I'm 76 and I almost swoon over the Duke. I love especially the Duke's exasperation with Kate... I also love Moses even when he plays his sleazy role .... all three are great actors !

This show is in every aspect a real gem. But still... to keep modern themes like individuality and independence for both sexes, modern banter and wit on the same page with an historically believable, reliable representation of the Victorian age in a believable and acceptable manner... I'm afraid that that restricts the possibilities for making attracktive stories in this format. Let alone the costs. The costumes, interiors, street images... it's all done so good. Must cost tons!

There is also the less similar BBC series Sally Lockhart Mysteries based on several novels about a Mid Victorian teenage girl + friends who act as private detectives well made though all serious no humor very interesting & worth seeing & reading!

When did they actually made the show? I ask because her hair is very short here and her hair is long on the show. Is she using a wig for the show? It takes years for hair to grow.
