There's actually lot of good heavy metal bands out there, just not those promoted by labels. Enforcer, Eclipse, Blade Killer, Ambush, Haunt, H.E.A.T., Lucifer, Wolf, Bullet are just some of them.

I love Acid since its first album.Awesome songs! Great Speed Metal band ! In my opinon,very underrated! The mix of fast and heavy tracks with a female vocal gave the group its unique style.Bang your head!

@@snakepitguy I saw Acid quite a few times live in the early 80's and they were a powerful liveband... not unlike this abomination that's called Kate's Acid. The guy must be on drugs to write this is sounding better than the old Acid.....

Acid - one of my favorite heavy metal bands in first half of 80's 🤘 I swear I never heard term Speed Metal about them at those times, only after youtube...Anyway Kate rocked and rocks! 🤘🤘 Brugge!

Surely life and the unfair hardness of music industry has a lot to do dude. Many bands, artists, material and ideas sadly got lost through the forgotten sands of time and it's been not until this last decade that these can now be unerthed thanks to modern technology, like here in youtube. During early to late 80s Glamers, Aor, soft melodics (which a large part of are worth of respect) and sadly some posser cringy cheese bubblegums where what was commercially attractive to the RCs back then due to the social trend shock they generated rather than music quality. So, amazing bands like Acid got overlooked, unable to jump out of the underground scene. Entering the early 90s there were legends who tragically had to restore to change their ways 100% completely or just simply keep milking the past nostalgia till the end to remain alive before rock/metal faded away mostly from the popular scene eye for the year 2000. Only few rare exceptions of bands like Pantera or Praying Mantis along others embraced this change positevely and managed to keep realising new stuff till now somehow BE GLAD ACID still exist!
