Great video! Just wanted to offer some education, Kate Spade "retail" stores are referred to as Specialty Stores not retail stores. The inventory in the outlet stores is specially designed for outlet locations, it's a completely different line than what is in the Specialty stores, same great quality ie: leather quality, the lining will be different but on par with Specialty store lining items. Kate Spade surprise sale items is a mixture of the two lines, and the only time you are able to get outlet items online, as it's a completely separate line you can only get in an outlet store.
I bought a Kate Spade wallet from Nordstrom Rack and I saw the same one at the Kate Spade outlet. The outlet interior was inferior compared to the Nordstrom Rack wallet. There wasn’t much difference in price.
Love Kate Spade too, I have a zip around wallet that hold a phone from their flash sales. Are those considered like "outlet" quality or are they just overstock items?
Nicoya_Beauty they are mixed in how you can tell is in the description they will have the item number if the item number starts with a "w" then it's outlet and if it starts with a "p" it's a retail item I would search through and get the retail items. Thanks for watching!
but i bought cardcase/coin purse with gusset on the retail store and it has rectangular gold plate engraved with kate spade logo like the wallet one. so other than looking at the serial number and gold plated spade logo; how can we differentiate outlet or retail stuffs?
Did you mean the red wallet was the outlet wallet and the blue is the retail because the blue has a plaque and the cheap looking red one has a print out Kate spade wallet that’s the biggest difference
would you happen to know the difference between buying a northface from a northface outlet, or one from a store like macy's/tj maxx, etc.? I found one in tj maxx today that I really liked, color wise and fit wise (usually one or the other doesn't work out for me), but my mom told me just to wait till Black Friday to check out more options at an outlet mall near me and buy one then. It was $60 at tj maxx today and there were no sales going on or anything. I wonder how much it is at an outlet mall on Black Friday. And if the quality differs between the outlet NF's and store NF's. I was ready to just get the tj maxx one since it was perfect in both color and size but too bad my mom was there lol
Sam S I don't know anything about north face but I would definitely buy a retail item on sale over an outlet item just because in all brands outlet items are mostly different quality...tj max carries outlet items too so you would need to find out if it's outlet item or not by the item number.
