I already loved Kate but I love her even more now for that salute to Alan.

I heard "Feminine mystique strikes again" in Alan's distinctive voice in my head and I have to say its cheered me a little. Thank you for sharing Kate.

Alan was a wonderful man and I'm so glad she said something about him to that crowd. I was at TIFF 2014 where he stood beside her, grinning ear to ear, when she told the story of being scared of him at first. He'd be smiling at this too. This leaves me even more heartbroken about Alan, if that is possible.

RIP Alan Rickman. When I heard of his death I literally screamed "NO" and started crying.

I fell in love with Alan Rickman after watching Sense and Sensibility.. one reason was his voice that I think is one of the best voices in Hollywood.. the other reason was the scene in which Kate was very sick and he was in such a condition outside her room that he was feeling that he can do nothing for her and want to do something rather just standing helplessly.. he asks Emma that gives me something to do.. the way he said that fully describes his feeling.. finally, when he came back and Kate was recovered, the way he looked at her and then when she says him thanks the way his facial expressions changed is one of my most favorite scene in the movie.. I love how Kate is missing and remembering her in this clip.. their bond was great..

I just love her she's so naturally dramatic, it just flows right through her. Sometimes you know an actress is fantastic on screen and then you see them in an interview or something and they don't seem to have the energy you saw on the screen. Not so with our sweet Kate. All her creative emotions seem to be flowing out of her as if she cannot hide nor feign anything.

I love that she wanted to make that moment as much about Alan as possible, showing that her achievement was important but not as important as the grief of losing her friend ❤

Seeing that spontaneous outpouring of emotion was beautiful, and she showed us that Mr. Rickman was a great actor and an even better man. I STILL haven't gotten over the loss of Bowie, and when Alan that same month died it just seemed like the stars would never shine the same way again. Thank you Kate for a beautiful tribute!!

when I heard of Mr. Rickman passing I cried. I know its been 2-3 weeks since he's been placed in Gods heaven, but I still cry over him being gone. even heating his name just gets me so down. but he was I know just another human being and I didn't know him personally but growing up and watching his career I knew him sprititually and through his amazing work. Mr. Alan Rickman I love you and god rest your soul. You were loved and are loved by millions and more than you'll ever know. Always 😢☺
