To those asking, the qipao is from Ebay. I wish I knew of some lovely qipao shops, but mine was unceremoniously won in a bidding war for around $20.
Our traditional/modern tea ceremony for the first half of our wedding celebration! Queens, New York. Includes bits of the gate crashing games, praying at the altar, and giving and receiving red envelopes. We served tea to all the family elders and it was magical. Oh, and there was wine. Lots and lots of wine.
