I like how Hitman Reborn laid out the powerscaling pretty clearly. Sure, you got no brainer stuffs like Iemitsu one-punching Vongola Gear Tsuna But hey, Amano Akira already established that flame's output is highly dependent on someone's resolve. Something that Byakuran once said. So it makes sense that Tsuna can only truly best his father after adult Reborn pep-talked him. As for why Iemitsu dont just fold Byakuran's ass in the future. yuni mentioned that the Byakuran that Tsuna defeated was Byakuran at his weakest. So he actually kinda got lucky there
