Having been at Panarama Farms, KT was in low gear with little warm up at starting box and was looking very lethargic going by me at 1 and 4K. Monster performance to finish 5th.

Nice tribute and I think you're right. Even in high school when she ran most if not all of her races after the 9th grade out front-- generally WAY out front, she was still solidly a team player. If you have an idle day or two, look up Perry King's Starshine Reflections series of videos chronicling Tuohy's rise to dominance in NY State. Even then her dedication to the North Rockland Red Raiders was total and unconditional.
