This edit is a masterpiece, i swear Katherine deserved better. She only did what she had to do to survive I'm pretty sure more than half the world is like that so you can't blame her for looking our for herself. When you have nobody left then all you can do is care about yourself. She lost everyone she loved mainly because of Klaus. She lost her family because of klaus, he massacred them. Not only that but her father took her baby away at birth for what because it was a fucking disgrace to the family. What bullshit is that, also she had to leave damon and Stefan in fear of being caught. So she did but she didn't want to. She is vulnerable because of her traumatic past, shes scared but hides it with her manipualtive, seductive behaviour so that people cant see the helpless and lost girl she is.
I watched the series before reading the books. When they first revealed Nina as Katherine I was disappointed… until she NAILED IT. You always knew who it was just by her stance, facial expressions, the look in her eye. Nina did a fantastic job!

Best character in the show can’t convince me otherwise. Katherine was a complete badass who went through hell her entire life and did what she had to to survive yet she’s hated and misunderstood and has trust issues (understandably). Ect ect… I just love her

Katerina petrova was her birth name and she got turned into a vamp in 1492, and the when she went to America in 1864 she changed her name to Katherine so klaus wouldn’t find her. So technically the clips u used for “katerina” is actually Katherine and the ones you’ve used for “katherine” are also katherine 🤓☝️
