My favourite Railway Station yaha se to 1976 se Ramgarh apne nanihaal jaya karte they ab to max time Lucknow se by car he jate hain but bahut sari yaden judi hui hai meri is station k sath। MG ki queen Nainital Exp tab yaha ki shan hoti thi ab RE ho gaya sab tasveer badal gayi।
I visited Kathgodam when I was in 11th Standard that is around 2009, and fell in love with the place cause this was my first visit to mountains other than Shimla which used to be our usual stop. Thanks for this journey and showing around KGM, refreshed the memory with this journey.
Avinash, I use to live in Sitapur Up many years ago, I am enjoying trip Kathgodam trip as we went to Nainital. Recently I enjoyed trip Kakinada to Vijayawada and Chennai to Vijayawada as I use to live in Chennai and Vijayawada. Thank you we love trains, Here I am retired Florida USA.

A new route and a wonderful journey. Thank you Aviji. Always feel good to watch your videos. I traveled from Delhi to Lucknow in Kaifiyat express once few years ago.
There used to be metre gauge route which ran from Lucknow to Bareilly via Sitapur-Lakhimpur-Mailani. The route further went to Kathgodam and even Nainital. The route was terminated at Bareilly when I was a little kid. I always used to wonder why trains called Nainital express, Kathgodam express and even Agra fort express ( apparently it went to Agra from Lucknow) were doing in my home town of lakhimpur when they obviously don't go to Kathgodam or Nainital or Agra for that matter. It was only when I was older I got to know about the whole route. Now- entire route is converted to broad gauge. I wish I could travel back in time to travel in those metre gauge trains. Take a train to Nainital or even Agra. Good old days!

nice vedio i traveled to kath godam from howra jn and back more than 30 years back by Bagh Express ,then after bBareilly there only ground no road by the side and its normal. Out side kathgodam station there was nothing only few cars were availavle to reach Nainital.But there was greenery to protect sun rays but that is vanished like other town or cities.
27:21 it's a loop line old MG line( nowBG) which connects from bareilly city to bareilly junction..you are travelling on new loop line from bareilly city to bareilly jn.
