I love this girl. I am 14 years older than her and feel that she DOES have a good heart. And she kind of nailed Patricia. Even when she said what she said, she sounded kind of sad about how Patricia turned on her.
It’s a southern thing. A lot of girls are taught that their lives don’t truly begin until marriage. Also, it’s a status symbol for ladies to marry well. Thank goodness my Mama was a feminist who said take your time and pushed education on us kids. I am happily single @ 37 and I don’t ever see myself getting married but it’s b/c I am very independent.
@@valentinaburgos3310 Nope, I am 35 and having never married I am an anomaly amongst my friends/peers. I grew up in western NC in a Southern Baptist Church so perhaps it depends on the religion if you are a southern girl. It’s also a double standard the boys/young men aren’t asked to sign purity pledges until marriage @ age 14 in front of the entire church congregation on Sunday morning!!! I refused and suddenly had a lot of offers for dates lol 😂 I was suddenly thankful that my parents wouldn’t let me date until I was 16. 😆😆😆
