One of the best choreographed routines in the history of the show. Such a clever take on the music. Russell was a beast of course, and Kathryn was really strong in this performance. It was a good season.
@vickyysingsx3 And the cool thing is she's the only contemporary dancer I know that could pull off a crumping dance like that a hardcore crump routine. It's the only one I've seen on this show and she pulled it off wonderfully.
@mrsdthomas08 hmmm.. krumper "hip hop family" outdanced a Contemp artist.. wow.. ur smart... Big props to Kath for holdin her own. and ofcourse Russell amazing.
im so glad russel won cause for those who dont know he wasnt only a krumper. he went to BAA (Boston Arts Academy) and was a dance major so he studied all kinds of genres like ballet and jazz to hip hop. like i said not only a krumper like the show made him out to be...
All the love in the world for these two performers, they are clearly at the top of their game, no doubt about it and this routine was great. But how is this hip-hop?
Props to the dancers, I am not saying anything about their talent at all, as they are fantastic, but I had a hard time liking the choreography. Just, really didn't wow me at all. I disliked it on a few levels. It was hard to follow. Props to these guys for rocking it though.
I really can't jump on the love train. They were off timing. At least that's what I see. There were some cool/creative bits in there but it did not live up to my hopes/expectations/standards. I'd like to see her perform that without wearing a damn corset. That right there is probably where a lot of her issues came from.
