That final shot at Kathy broke my heart, she looked so hurt. If Kathy isn't a part of Sister Act 3 why make the movie in the first place? She had one of the most memorable performances in the first two and her character tbh was my favorite, she brought so much joy onto the screen...Whoopie I love you but not putting Kathy in will not be a good move for the movie

I saw the sparkle in Kathy's eyes fade away at the end. I loved Sister Mary Patrick. If Kathy isn't invited back for Sister Act 3, I'm not watching the movie. On a positive note, congratulations Kathy on Hocus Pocus 2.

This was so awkward. I felt bad for Kathy. She clearly wasn’t asked back to film the movie. Sunny and the other ladies clearly didn’t know. I can't at all these comments mentioning how the script is still being worked on yet ignoring the fact that Jenifer Lewis was already invited back LIVE ON AIR and had a way less visible and minor role in the Sister Act movies.

I think since Tyler Perry is the executive producer, there’s a strong likelihood that Kathy Najimy will be back for Sister Act 3 because he cast her before on A Madea Christmas so they have history. And I don’t think Whoopi will let it get made without her involvement, even if it’s just a cameo.

I grew up watching Whoopi & Kathy in Sister Act w my mom. Wore that VHS out! Gonna have to search out her other acting roles. I love the comedy she brings to Sister Act & Hocus Pocus, but she's so well composed and intelligent that it seems like those roles wouldn't really satisfy her.
