Criminally underrated by the judges! Seriously underrated this week though! Latin is, as we know, not Katie's strong point but she has improved vastly since her first Latin dances and this was a really good performance! Minus the few mistakes, we need to give credit where it is due and she definitely deserved more than what the judges gave her! I thought that 7,8,7,7 would have been fair! I know it was lacking in some areas but really, 21 was seriously underrated! A 4 from Craig (the same as Jeremy Vine!!!!!) was totally unjust and uncalled for!! You can physically see that Katie was disappointed with the scores and comments! I hope she is safe because she deserves it! 👌🏼🙏🏻 #TeamDerBeke!!
Thankfully, Anton and Katie are still in the competition. I hope they get to the finale. I loved their Paso Doble (Phantom of the Opera Song). For their efforts, I'd give Anton and Katie 40 out of 40. Well done, Anton and Katie. You deserve better marks than 21.
It’s the current West End version.If you RU-vid Michael Crawford as The Phantom you will hear the original version of the song ,it might be hard to find though. I found the original version off putting but that’s because I am used to the current version.
I think the problem was the mask Anton is wearing. He missed Katie's hand at the beginning because he couldn't see her in the mask properly. This is a real shame because I love them dancing together! 🎃👻
Ok, I know that this is a paso double, and it's supposed to be dramatic and stuff, but what the frack is up with her makeup?! She's meant to look like Christine Daae, and Christine did NOT look like a corpse..
I don't think Anton could see properly with the mask on. Watching this back I don't think it's as bad as I remember, Katie did the best with what she was given.
She was dramatic. The spins with her arms were not that bad. How high she went was very impressive. The facials were nice. And the frame was good. I'm glad the classiness is having a break and we are seeing other positives. Also Diagram is lovely. And she did it with style. But the problems are that it lacked content. And we're mistakes. another thing is a illegal lift was added and you keep atleast one foot on the floor at all time but that is Anton's rules so yeah. 8
She looked as though she was going to have a 'right go' at Bruno when he gave his comments!! I did actually feel they were a tad harsh!! The 4 given by Craig was unjustified.
