The comments on Katie videos always vary, sometimes it’s “omg she answered those questions and is so fun to talk to” and sometimes it’s “omg she so hot”.. But I have to say, it was fun to hear her answers in this, it was a nice insight into the POV of an actor/actress in Merlin - behind the scenes
she hides her irish very well but you can still hear its twang at theend of a sentence but i love the irish acient on women but colin you caint hear his at all hes realy good at hiding it
A lot of people say she reminds them of Keira Knightley.. I suppose in a way, they do look alike .. but for me personally, Katie is so much more beautiful. Not to mention that she seems like a more interesting person
Katie i have watch this Merlin Series all the season, 3 times specially because of you ! You are so beautiful as the way you are ,i like you a lot ! I really2 wanna see you in real and talk with you !
wow! she has like 5 piercings on her ear! didnt think she was that kind of gal, but then again i heard in an interview she once worked as a receptionist at a piercing shop.
@Kerem Demir now I'm confused. How is that homophobic. Also it's more commonly used for men but it can still be used for any homosexual. The Google definition is "(of a person) homosexual (used especially of a man)" meaning that it is a word homosexuals use to identify themselves but it is more commonly used amongst men. However women can still be homosexual thus being able to use that term.
Every time I hear the natural accent of an actor that I'd assumed was English and think "wait... that almost sounds 'normal' to me" (I'm Canadian), someone says it's an Irish accent. To those in the U.K.: does a Canadian (or American) accent sound Irish at all?
I'm from Scotland and to me she sounds English too, with some slight American influence showing through on the r's and low-voice crackle (whatever that's called) The Canadian/American accent definitely does not sound Irish to me, but neither does her accent to be honest
I like her very much. Too bad the character Morgana is not too bright in Merlin. Well actually most of the characters are idiots most of the time but it especially bugs me how the part for Morgana has been written. The IQ of the character should be easily 40-50 points higher. Then again Merlin usually falls short about 70 points so in a way the series is kinda consistent.
Loved her on hallmark. She's gorgeous. My ex-wife is of Irish blood through her mom, Cheyenne through her dad....she'd make a great witch....or sorceress....actually, I think she is actually one....my ex, I mean.
The main plot of Season 1 is only featured in one episode of Season 2 and that's it, so Season 1 feels slow compared to the other series. Season 2 onwards flows more.
@pana1618 Why? She doesn't look much like her, in the face or hair or anything, and she's Irish, not English. So remind me how she's like Knightley? loads say that :-/
@decimus81 Look at her face, she does. A black haired, prettier, diana agron. And Diana is NOT boring. I'm stating my opinion, I don't care of it's not yours.
I'm sorry that you are so jealous of her beauty and kindness! You are such a poor soul 😓 I wish you all the best to get a better view of yourself so you dont need to insult others anymore !
+Teena Mulder Oh yes, she is a beauty, no doubt about that. Now, if you would've actually read my comment, you would see that I didn't mention her appearance and it has nothing to do with her acting. And I can call you a hypocrite, you're trying to insult me over a simple opinion, which majority of people who watched this show also share this opinion.
Katie's great and I love her in Merlin. :) She's perfect to play the evil Morgana but I loved her when she was good too. I miss that side of Morgana. :(
I came here to comment on this... Morgana had completely turned against everyone by the first episode of season 3, not just Uther, who deserved it, but everyone. It wasn't even halfway through the episode when we got her first evil smirk after collecting Uther's tears for the spell.
I was researching J.J. Abrams whose wife is called Katie McGrath as well. This is the first time I hear this actress speak. Why does she sound so English? Is she putting it on? She sounds Irish 10% of the time only. I live in Ireland, but didn't know her because I don't watch tv and cancelled my Netflix subscription.
