I think Pete secretly knew Katie was NOT "the one" about 2 years into their marriage. This is what happens to guys when they let the head below the waist do the thinking instead of the head on their shoulders.
Pete was desperate to be famous and used katie for what he could get, he didnt know how to act or behave on TV was always looking for security and ques from katie and then hated her for her popularity.
Pete let the head below his waist do the thinking for him instead of the head on his shoulders when it came marrying Katie. You could tell quite early on into their marriage that he was having regrets but tried to hang on for as long as possible for the sake of their kids.
She put him down that much a man won't put up with that for long,I love Kate but she did put him down alot he obviously just had enough,not saying he was perfect,you can see them both picking at each other here not a good sign,she was stunning here
@@tracey8698 I remember their very first reality shows together. This was before Junior and Princess were born and before they became super popular as a couple. She was always disrespectful to him, right from the start. He initially was always docile and never retaliated, but then he started to fire back at her. I think that is why people think Pete was always nasty to her too.

She was a cocky lady to him even early on in the relationship 2years in she just is so belittling of him. She lost him to a another lady whome hes happily married.

Wow the tension... Peter seems like a typical arrogant prideful man. Of course there was lots of drama between them and we'll never know the full truth but as someone who has been in that situation... all I see is RED FLAGS. "You say you know alot" "We moved on from that half an hour ago" "Go on explain yourself" .... The but where Katie mentions writing an album I they ever broke up was tongue in cheek too. Peter at this time was recording songs about divorce and the album came out as soon as they split. She always thought it was pre planned and he was using her name to relaunch his career. But then again, it could all just be a double bluff
