@@LeeoGoneWild She went through a really hard time during filming of the show. Her ex was using the show to block her from seeing her children so even though Bravo wanted her back, she didn't really have a choice. I would like to see her back on the show instead of Candiace but only if she's well and it doesn't jeopardise her relationship with her children :)
@@ayoutuber4576 I'm not sure when her mental health issues started, but production wasn't a fan of her speaking up. She had good moments, but loosing Andrew etc, I'm not sure what her next season would have been like.
@@wet_jojo1015 I thought the story was that she had shaved her head during a breakdown and wore the wigs for the remainder of the time she had to honour her contract before she went off to try and get herself together with rehab and therapy so she could fight for her kids and etc.
@BingeKing I agree, there's nothing wrong with being mixed raced and you should embrace that. The way Robyn and Gizelle were going on was ridiculous by their logic there's no difference in a mixed raced person saying they're white.
@@UltimaFantasy both Robyn's parents are black and slightly darker than her. There's a difference between light-skinned blacks marrying other light-skinned blacks for generations vs someone like Katie who is biracial. If you're saying that light-skinned blacks have mixed ancestry that is true, but blackness is more a social identity. Most black people in the US aren't even literally "black".
I loved her in the first season but back then most people were like ooh Katie is boring and I really didn't understand because I thought she is bringing it and wasn't afraid of the green eyed bandits. Unfortunately last season she seemed more on gizelle's and robin's side and not mentally stable. But I would love to have season 1 Katie back
You mean Katie ROAST. She is an expert in gathering these ladies up and roasting them for all their worth. Katie's wig may have been a mess, but lord knows she was snatching everyone else's wigs and taking their edges. She really is iconic, and we need more of her. She and Claudia Jordan really deserved better.

I feel really bad for her. You can tell her mental capacity just dropped after season 1. She's funny to watch but you can tell theres something serious going on.
@ Laura I heard that her ex husband was mixing a vitriol cocktail of drugs together that had thrown her a chemical imbalance in her body. Don’t ask me where I read it but I certainly do believe it. It’s criminal to do that to anybody. He did it so that he could control her make her seem off and get the children that way. It’s not just inhumane, abominable and trifling as hell!!
He was also abusing her. They lived in my town for a couple years. He basically messed with her meds and used it against her to take full custody of her kids

No she wasn't BUT having European ancestry from way back in the day and being raised by a full white parent are two different things. Robyn and Gizelle were raised as Black women by Black parents

@@stoneghana4171 Not necessarily true. You don’t have to have a white and black parent in order to be biracial. Anything in your genealogy that has two distinct races coming together can make you biracial.
Katie is needed on RHOP!! She needs to come back and humble both Robyn and Gizelle.. imagine Katie Monique and Karen taking the green eye bandits out.. TV GOLD.
Katie’s voice is so clear and assertive. Kind of reminds me of Ashley’s voice. Maybe it’s a pageant thing? It’s also kind of deep. Very unique and pleasant to listen to. And the things she says, there’s no hesitation. She must knows exactly what she’s going to say before she says it.
Literally hated this season. Robyn & Gizelle were talking about race this entire season and I don’t know why people liked them after all of this, making it seem like Katie wasn’t proud of her race. Everyone was living for Gizelle be she just rubbed me the wrong way and up until now, Season 5, my opinion hasn’t changed about her 🥴
Haha!! The moment Robyn found out she had European roots she looked so embarrassed😂😂😂 I was cackling. We all knew from DAY ONE that Katie was right. Robyn was in denial about her ancestry 🍃
It’s BEYOND me how they chose Candice and Wendy over Katie, this makes no logical sense to me at all. Katie reminds me of the Taylor Armstrong of BH. They should have kept her. Her life is very interesting too, especially with the messy relationships, open minded sexuality, model-like looks, cookiness and major sass
@BingeKing Candice should never have been on the show. No kids. No husband. No job. Paid half the rent to live in her mom’s vacation home. She’s complete trash. Wendy doesn’t belong on this show. She’s a political commentator that works at john Hopkins. She will ALWAYS be censored and filtered. I think Robyn and Giselle are great for this type of show, but i don’t like them. There’s a difference between liking someone and knowing that someone is right for this show.
What Ashley said to Katie was horrible coming from a woman to another . Instead of uplifting her with her situation she's going thru she knocks her down with using the mental health card
I love the fights on RHOP because it's almost like it's for sport and they know it's not that serious. Katie was so much fun, I wish they would at least bring her back as a friend for some scenes. She is so much more natural on camera than Candiace is.
Katie needs to be back on the show,the way she got to those green eye bandits wow I loved it, she says it as it is without fear,we need her on this show.I hope she has sorted out her problems and wish her the best.Please bring her back so I can continue watching,she may even put Andy in his place at the next reunion,you never know with her!!👍👍👍
Katie gathered Giselle during the conversation starting at 0:55. I think this is probably the most direct, honest, grown dialogue that any housewife from any franchise ever had.
I think from season 2, she wasn't showing too much of her life, Andrew didn't want to film anymore, and her ex didn't want the kids on. And then s4 she had problems with production and the whole michael situation so she wasn't invited to reunion and back
@@jeanp1323 she definitely looked darker on the reunion, maybe from being in the sun on make up?? but she's light skinned and she has European features. If you look at the other episodes or when she came back with the bad wigs, she's light skinned. The women who came after her are darker, especially Wendy and candiace
