Definitely not my experience today.... rain, rain, & more rain, where'd those nice bridges go? Planks, not covering the whole river, it was a crap show today. Still drying out in the hotel 12 hrs later.
@@carolthomas3034 Same thing happened to me and my husband when we were there on Sept. 1 of 2023. I have a selfie - I look grumpy, but I was really _soooo_ excited to be on a glacier! Luckily, I had a really, really good coat. Only thing that got soaked were my face, phone, and legs. That coat kept everything else dry.
@@carolthomas3034 I love showing people that selfie after breathlessly telling them how excited I was to be on a glacier. Usually has people cracking up!
