god peeta is the first movie character i’ve been truely in love with. I cried so hard when i saw how the capitol broke him, he didn’t deserve any of that.
Katniss is still one of my favourite characters from Hunger Games but she can never, ever deserve Peeta's love for her. Not because she loves him any less but because the kind of love Peeta has for her can never be imitated, not even by her. A love that strong, beautiful and pure can never be imitated. I love you both. Missing Hunger Games even now.....:)
I loved the movie, and I loved the book. When I watched the sequences, I went ready to read all the books. Immediately. I noticed that Peeta's love for Katniss go beyond of all and everything. Katniss, she's not cold, but come close to it compared with his feelings. In the book I thought she was egoist when he was going through the things Snow did to him, I thank God that Haymitch said all those things to her. Peeta doesn't deserved her judgment or being guilty for what happened to him, and also he surely wouldn't have mistreated her in any way if was her. Another thing: I didn't get over Finnick's death.
Katniss loved Gale, but not as much as Peeta. She needed him to be okay. She was devastated when he was captured, she had a mental breakdown when he almost died, she was willing to trade herself for him. She needed and loved Peeta more than Gale❤❤😭😭
Jennifer Lawrence portrayed this character very well. She really strong and soft at the same time. Everytime I watch other movies like Hunger Games that the main character is a woman, Katniss is always the best. 🔥❤️
Autobot Nightfall no gale was in love with Katniss 6 months before she left for the hunger games (it says that in the book) and Pete’s was in love with Katniss the first time he saw here when he was 5 years old (also in the book)
yesssss When Finnick died, I broke down crying. Finnick was a genuinely good guy. He understood Katniss and Peeta’s relationship especially when Peeta got Hijacked because he went thru the same thing with Annie.
If you ever get to go to "District 12" in Henry River Mill Village in NC lemme tell you, it is amazeballs. So peaceful, beautiful, and just something so special about it. It's literally right there off the road. The Everdeen house is right across from the bakery.
really like this just finished watching all of the hunger games films and I loved it so moved and was looking for the end song I found it then it lead me to this and this made me well up
Why does everyone be like "it shuldve been Gale durrre..." ummm no peeta is actually nice to katniss and doesnt do rude things like scaring off her dinner or making fun or her like gale does. And can we talk about how peeta risks his life for katniss way many more times then gale does so....
Who's watching in 2021? A coworker and I were talking yesterday about Peeta's depiction of a true beta male; how beautiful and supportive he is, not weak, mind, but a perfect balance to the alpha female (Katniss). In my opinion, he's one of the best written supporting characters in modern literature.

I did at first too! It took me a month to get over the ending. But then I realized how much she loved Peeta, since the moment he gave her the bread she had a special feeling for him, and it developed into something Gale could never inspire.
