This particular song for instance has been a trademark song for Regine.. She just set the bar so high that you cannot help but compare other performances of this song from a female artist to the lovely songbird.. Katrina gave justice to the song though..

Woops chill guys. I was just saying she's really good base on what I hear and that's it. No comparison whatsoever. Regine is Regine, Asia's songbird and she's an established singer while Katrina is a budding artist trying to make a name of her own.

what we just saw while watching this video , is an alto soprano performing a very demanding song which apparently she had not only what it takes but a ton more to give to it . Its worth to mention that while seated she performs in such a way only someone with diaphragm technique could possibly done that . When she starts we hear just head voice , smooth , low , sensitive but as the song progresses she switched between head voice and chest voice to something we call : Katrina Velarde phenomenon , like a hurricane she jumped from tone to tone and a semitone just before the end , because she can ! If Regine Velasquez was alive she would be very proud of her !
You should try reacting to a series of commercial on a Filipino fast food restaurant called "Jollibee". These are 3 series titled "VOW", "CRUSH" and "DATE'. I think these will definitely blow you away. Hope you feel connected with it. :-)
