I've been watching NOAH for a long time since like 2004 but it felt odd mentioning to friends because most of them didn't watch Puroresu so I always felt like I was like the only person outside of the internet that enjoyed much more than just western wrestling, but overseas as well whether it was Japan, UK or anywhere else professional wrestling or Puroresu was celebrated and treated with full blown respect. 🙏🏽
The belts are so nice! I grew up on 90s wrestling and have become very critical of wrestling nowadays due to how WWE is ruining it. I am very impressed with NOAH! From the old style belt designs and the presentations and wrestling is reminiscing of when wrestling was great. I will become a subscriber. Thank you! Keep the great wrestling videos coming. However, this is the quietest crowd I've ever heard.
Damn amazing match!! Kicks vs chops! You can always count on Japan to deliver amazing matches when all else failed. This is the first time I saw Nakajima and I'm very impressed! and Go Shiozaki is still as handsome as ever!❤❤❤
Go Shiozaki’s chops no doubt taught to him and passed down from his mentor the legend Kobashi himself, surprised Nakajima’s chest didn’t just shatter. First time properly watching Noah and what an introduction, will definitely check out more.
Watching nearly a year later, but as someone who is a fan of some Japanese wrestling (NJPW, Stardom mainly) I've heard good things about Noah, being a hidden gem. With their co-produced shows with New Japan recently, Nakamura fighting The Great Muta and his whole retirement tour, I thought about dipping my toes in it. Glad this match is on RU-vid. A great taster and I hope to see more.
Noah has way better production value than NJPW that's for sure. But way less popular. It's quite sad since they used to be way more popular than NJPW. Kobashi used to have legit sold out Tokyo Domes.
My first NOAH match since years. The match performance itself is worth 5 stars in my opinion. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ But I´m really shocked about the silence of the crowd. I remember the incredible atmosphere in the old DIFFER ARIAKE from the beginning of NOAH. It can´t be compared to the audience nowadays.
After now 10 years without watching any Japanese Wrestling, I was curious. First I checked out New Japan...was disappointed, so lame meanwhile. Now lets see NOAH....for me, before the NOAH Championship matches were some of the best Puroresu outthere with these huuuge Stars like Kobashi, Kenta etc.or better said, List of LEGENDS... Wanna see , if they could held up that huge quality level of fights.
It's probably because they might not be properly worked down on which talking points they need to cover (by Noah staff) and instead sort of wing it. So they hyperfixated on the idea that Nakajima would do a version of a Emerald Flowsion based on some sort of tweet or comment. And a Northern Lights bomb kinda looks like emerald flowsion kai.
