As a mom and also back in HS I got bullied by these facts but I came back like Katt and shut em down. Takes practice but I learned from the best comedy shows back in the 70s. If you develop a quick wit and have fun but don't hurt ppl with your words you can go far. I was Head Cashier at Wally years ago. A white guy comes in yelling. I say sir may I help you. Try to calm him down. He yells for the manager. I say I am and how can I help you. He says you can't be a manager you Black!! You can hear the people around us in shock. So I say oh no!!! I am??? I thought I was Asian!!! The guy started laughing and said that was good. He apologized to me and everyone else for his behavior. Loved my job and customers liked me. People still ask for me and they let me go in the middle if my shift in 2019. U just gotta keep going...
