All Katt is saying is that a lot of people you see on TV "did what it took" to get that position. People always talk about doing what it takes, but get surprised/offended when untalented people at the top get called out. This goes for politicians, racially ambiguous sports anchors, music artists, models. If the talent isn't obvious or doesn't match the notoriety, you should be suspicious.
