Katt didnt give some magical premonition. He was knew he was speaking truth and was forewarning him of the consequences. People hate the truth...sad but true. So as a truthteller its easy to predict the outcome when youre realistic about the true nature of people's reactions to certain conversations.

Tbf to all the people making the comparisons to VLADtv, I see more negative comments about VLAD than I've ever seen positive. Like, in a completely lopsided way btw. It's not even close. People have been calling out VLAD as a culture vulture (among many other things) & instigator for years. VLAD's main target audience are people who aren't exactly known for their standards on things, so I wouldn't expect them to "cancel" him. This current "canceling" of Uncle Shay is just the inevitable thing that heppens when our celebrities get too big, we start finding reasons to hate on them. Sometimes its out of oversaturation and boredom, but way too often its a snowball effect from mob mentality. Someone like [for example] Tariq Nasheed will find a problem with a person, and then almost on cue, half of _Black Twitter_ and cats in the RU-vid comment sections will be echoing that bs, word for word. The level of divisiveness that's been pushed within the Black community & diaspora for the past few years gives me major fed vibes honestly. _This is why we can't have nice things._

I think thenissue that everyone had with Shannon was that he didnt check Katt at any point, including when he became the hero in every story. Shannon had all this smoke for Amanda Seales but had none for an embellisher who was wrestling a child in the street.

This highlights a seriously destructive mentality within some Black Communities. It is truly a curse.

Katt Williams brought up petty things from 20 plus years ago. Many of which were verified lies, and Shannon gave him the platform to do so. I'm sure Shannon knew that interview would rub a lot of people the wrong way. But choose to air it anyway. He gets what he gets.
