Thank you so much for having us join in for the show, NPR! We had an amazing time listening to Katy Kirby. What an awesome experience to inspire our campers before their own original performances. We can’t wait to come back!
They're obviously a subtle group of people but love how jazzed the band got near the end of Cubic Zirconia and how much they seem to like the way that song builds and closes out
it's partially cuz there's a bunch of children in the audience and they are clapping along so joyously! there was a Girls Rock summer camp visiting that day
I first learned about Katy through this video. I love her voice and the way she sings. And her wonderful backing band is also attractive. The smiles on the members' faces between songs make me feel happy. I've been playing this video on loop all day. I hope to hear her live in Japan someday.
this version of table is stunning... i saw katy and the band when they were in dc on the first stop of the blue raspberry tour. i didn't know at the time what these songs would mean to me. thank you to the tiny desk team for highlighting her :) p.s. logan shreds
I thought her voice and, of course, the song was very good. I'msn old-man who is over 50years old with no merit, but l thought I'd try to live a little more, looking forward to katy's future success. Thank You.
Even thou im a big hip hop RnB fan, this is just fantastic music, No drum machines or synths, just pure wholesome music you can just wash your dishes to.
Katy Kirby forever and ever!! So cool seeing people I went to school with on Tiny Desk!! If you haven’t listened to Blue Raspberry, listen to Blue Raspberry! Katy does something I’ve absolutely never heard before
seeing katy and this band live on the recent tour was genuinely one of my favourite days like EVER. blue raspberry as an album is so incredible and it only gets better when played live. i love this video!!
I saw Katy open for Andy Shauf in 2023 and as excited as I was to see Mr. Shauf and the boys, hearing her play a few songs solo beforehand was probably the highlight of the evening for me.
This was lovely! A very comforting sound. I also love that the entire band seems a little shy and like they're trying to forget that they have an audience. ❤
