This song gets me EVERY time and I am so thankful to God for it. I spent the first 19 years of my life stumbling through darkness and depression until Jesus flipped a switch in me and changed me into a completely new person. Now here I am 37 years old, married to an amazing Godly woman and still pursuing Jesus. Also of note is the fact that despite the world treating me like I am broken (I have Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus) the Lord showed me I am whole in Him and that the only real disability is a bad attitude.

Jesus changed my life. When I was 9 years old my sisters and I were taken and placed in foster care. We went through years of abuse before CPS removed us, but even then it wasn't easy. A couple of our foster homes were abusive as well. I was adopted in 2011 by a woman who seemed nice at the time, I was with her from 2009 until last year when I met a friend and she got me out of the woman's house. Jesus changed my life by giving me my friend who got me out of the abusive home.
