Witness is, in terms of selling, her weakest album, but in terms of lyrics is her best one! Please react to it 🥰 also I went to her Witness Tour in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and she put a photo on stage of a city councilwoman who was a poc and part of the LGBTQIA+ community and unfortunately was murdered earlier that period. She asked the councilwoman family to get on stage and share a few words and dedicated one of her more emotional songs to her, Marielle Franco. 🥺

Omg like her WHOLE discography is worth getting into! ‘Teenage Dream’ was her most successful album she ever released and still popular to this day, ‘Prism’ is her second, still very fun but also has a vulnerable side. ‘One Of The Boys’ is a more classic pop/rock type of feel released in the late 2000s but still a very good album. ‘Witness’, her “flop” era was an underrated masterpiece. Some say it’s an acquired taste, but if you’re willing to just feel what she says and the production, you’ll love the album. And her recent album, ‘Smile’ is back to a more fun vibe with a story behind it. Sorry about the rant, I’m just a big Katy Perry fan, but I hope this was helpful!😅
