As a Norwegian I couldn´t agree more - the girls were amazing together, and they made their own kind of sub-genre I think... I mean, nobody else sounds like them, and I miss them.
The fact that these girls dont get more recognition is a crime. Havent we had enough rnb, rap and crappy pop, dominating our charts for the past 10 years? Comon, we need something new refreshing and positive.
How much modern pop music do you see done with those instruments. This doesn't class as pop music as it isn't main stream. It would class as modern folk. So if your gonna rant, know what your talking about
+Dylan Le Lerre Now i know why the internet never will be the prefered arena for dialog. Getting bashed by someone who has the same point of view as me, Just great.
Ganz tolles Konzert. Die Mädels sind unglaublich. Vocals, Drums, Bass, Violine etc. werden immer wieder umbesetzt und jedes Bandmitglied beherrscht alle Instrumente. Outstanding!
I've said this before in other videos... I seriously rue the chance to not have seen this amazing band live... we can always hope maybe one day they'll have a reunion and for at least one tour give us who missed them the chance to show the love of all they did ♥
I´ll hop on that train in a second! I never knew how good they were until a few years ago, and I regret anything else I´ve ever done that prohibited me from seeing them live! I LOVE their music, and nobody else does it to this day! They are already legends in my mind.
Heard of these very talented ladies many years ago due to our local radio station in Cornwall UK. If there is anything unusual, a bit quirky but very, very good they will find it. My wife blames all my musical taste on Radio Cornwall UK.
Ines Winter Hi. Ich hasse Hauskatzen, aber DIESE Katzen liebe ich! Vielleicht sollten die mal was machen mit Lyanne Hanson. Würde richtig passen...hmmm..denke ich mal so in den Abendhimmel rein. Gruss, A.
Hah! This band is so fantastic--I really appreciate that they play all kinds of instruments, and find it hilarious that the lady playing accordion is playing the drum at the same time--so much optimal skill use going on!
@spacecowboy7580 Thank you I'm convert to Blackmore's Night now too! Haven't had continuous access to broadband to test out new music so any suggestions are very welcome. I have an open mind, I dip into all gentres and feel it's a pity when folk keep to the tried and tested, the old version of a song, never bothering to experiment or try a new angle. Anyway I'm getting off my soap box now & try & fix my sub woofer that is playing up at the point of connection! Thanks once again.
@OneBlueHankVictimeXD Thanks a lot :D, I have just started dancing lessons and I still have absoluty no Idea how to know if you can dance on it or not :)
Like Walk off the Earth meets Pee-wee's playhouse. (with all the switching of instruments, and the artsy sets). Anyone that has 'Balkan' in their musical influences is good with me!
Don't know about Norwegian loanwords...but in German, it definitely means "Hangover". Usually, it is is abreviated to "Kater", wich literally means "male cat", but still means "hangover" in everyday use.
Na wer bei solche die Daumen runter machen sind echt doof spielt hier erst mal so vor allem jedes Teil verschiedenen ich sag nur Respekt echt vor allem das alles zu lernen sehr großen Respekt 👍😀
It's easily translated into dutch, where it means Cat cries, referring to a womans bad vocals but in a light humor kind of way. I hope i'm making sence right now :)
