Hi Chris. I'm currently having Katzkins covers and Degreez put in my truck. The installer said the control button I'm getting is round, not the standard Degreez button. How can I make sure I'm actually getting the "Katzkin Degreez" cooler/heaters? Want to make sure I'm not getting some cheap knockoff. Thanks.

Jeeps take in water and so if I install amps, I’ll need to raise them off the floor using a “shelf” that I mount on the bottom of the seat. Is that possible with these units or do they take up too much space-not allowing for enough clearance?

Hi I just saw your tutorial on RU-vid how to install heat/ cooling seat system. I have a Jeep Jk 2017 and it comes from factory only heating option what's your suggestions change it to cooling. And what part do I need to buy it to make that happen Thank in advance, And am looking for ur advice,

You can’t disassemble the Degreez but you can choose to just use the air part of it and not the heat.

Do I have to use the the leather seat coverings to run this system or can it be used with cloth seats?

perforated material is best.

I like the idea a lot but my biggest hang up is the location of the switch and an aftermarket look. I already have heated seats so to do this install it would disable my current switch to nothing. I wouldn’t want a switch on my dash that does nothing.

This is one of the options that you can choose from when shopping for katzkin leather seats, other options you don’t have to get the cooling or heating, so they won’t add that, you’ll just get the leather seats

Katzkin says you must use reticulated foam with these units, but I don’t understand why. The air comes through the bubble pad which sits right under the perforated leather. How did yours work with just the normal seat foam?

No problems. I'm not sure why they say that.
