I would like to say... is the bird genuinely beautiful or because its extinct thats why its beautiful? I feel like we humans always take things for granted and only learn to appreciate and admire the things that are lost.

What I would love to do is have one of the zoo's in Australia teach the song of the Kauai 'O'o to their Lyrebirds. The Lyrebird is an incredible mimic and would be able to learn the song of the Kauai 'O'o and the song would live on.
