This is literally what happened as described by Kaveh and Alhaitham’s character stories in-game, and people still argue that they “hate each other”.

"unwilling to let his colleagues and friends know..." That moment when Alhaitham is neither, and more than both can ever be. To Kaveh, it may have been just letting out his sorrows in a bout of drunkenness to one who would listen, but Alhaitham also "listened intently." He is the only one who knows Kaveh's predicament to it's entirety. The only one who knows how to help and protect him without hurting Kaveh's dignity. Oh god how did 60 seconds of animation make me cry

Words cannot describe how much I want to hold him in my arms. He went through so much. Me and Kaveh have similar personalities and backgrounds, maybe that's why I got attached to him a lot. It hurts even more that I didn't get him either 😭 He might be a fictional character, but to me he's more than that

Words are so confusing, they are so hard to use and express love. I get he is a fictional character, but sometimes u think, just think, and u cry. Because kaveh deserves the world ❤️

i’ll never understand people who despises them, Kaveh especially. like how could you despise this man? how could you despise them BOTH. kaveh was left alone, he always feels guilty and would please the people around him, even when it hurts him a lot. Alhaitham on the other hand, would be willing to help kaveh, but he couldn’t really express his feelings clearly, resulting a misunderstanding that lead to several arguments. i just wanna give both of thrm a big ass hug to them like it’s the end of the world. I love them with all of my heart.

kaveh and alhaitham deserved so much better

kaveh... he didn't deserve what he went through. he truly didn't. all the burdens he put on himself simply escalated the expectations from others. in the end, his benevolence, his 'light', the same 'light of kshahrewar', was his fault. but faults, flaws, are what makes a character natural. believeable. relatable. understandable. and i think his flaws were executed, well, flawlessly.

Kaveh deserves all the love in this world and a thousand times more I don’t care if he’s fictional I just want to give the guy a hug 😭

Hey there , This is Kaveh's appreciation comment :) Kaveh is such a nice and kind character as we al know, and also the most incredible thing that he's so relatable,I can't just he's perfect and I'm currently building him so i can read his lore by myself. Because Kaveh is nice...but a little too nice a lot of people use him Like Dori for example..., Despite his troubled past he's still tookind too others Kaveh always put others before himself :( . As for Alhaitham well how do i put it... it's clear that he isn't A complete logical machine who probably doesn't care About people feelings at all well that ain't true while Kaveh was homeless at the least he gave him a place to live and in Kaveh's hangout he also asked us that Is Kaveh feeling down? And told us why it happens he certainly know his Friend...Kaveh is way much better now and that's good He's an amazing character! :D I'm so glad I found this animatic You did an Amazing job!! ;> I rarely find Kaveh angst and oh man i need more of it 😂

I only just read Kaveh's story note 5 right before. And god does it hurt to see this now. He's a load of pixels but his emotions and struggles are so true and something so many struggle with in real life. He's a character I'll always keep dear to my heart. I'm glad he at least appears to be doing slightlt better currently in game, though it's clear his sorrows are masked by his selflessness to make others happy and his frustrations for Alhaitham. He's a character with so much potential and I still believe he should've somehow been given a story quest. Especially with Fontaine out now, news of his mother could lead to a good quest to show his vulnerable side. We love you Kaveh

i’ve never even played genshin i know nothing abt it but i keep seeing this guy around and i love seeing these things of him :) blindly finding out things about this stranger who lost his mother and constantly argues with his housemate. the art here is so pretty too and manages to catch just, the perfect energy of exhaustion

kaveh is genuinely such a sweet character... he's been through so much, and yet he's still such a sweetheart with a selfless, loving personality. he gives himself away to help the others around him... i wish he could realize his own self worth

Being recently taken in by Professor Kaveh, there's still a lot I don't know about him or his past. One thing that I do know is that he doesn't have many people he considers a friend. I'm not sure myself on his thoughts on me although him being comfortable to vent to me on anything and everything I guess is proof enough he trusts me to some level. I hadn't expect that he of all people could hide such pain, he's always so passionate about the beauty of life and always tells me I shouldn't throw away my life so easily because there's so many wonderful things to live for. I still don't understand why but for some reason whenever Professor Kaveh goes on and on about beauty and design, it's like I can see the world through his eyes and it truly is as beautiful as he makes it to be. Unlike me who deserves the pain, he does not deserve what he's gone through. I wish to do whatever I can to help and protect him. I owe him that much at least for saving my life both figuratively and literally.

I sometimes can relate to kaveh compare to other characters. The debt and following your dreams.. that's hard in real life. 😢 You try to be positive and kind but there is a limit to keep all that negative feeling in. Which is why I'm glad that kaveh is roommate with alhaitham so that he can keep kaveh company with funny argument and all. Living alone is lonely when you have no one to talk to in the house. Sure, you can chat with friends online or face to face but in the end, you will go back to the same lonely house. And maybe watching video on YT to keep yourself entertain.
