Decided to make a music video with beautiful clips from Drive to the sweet sounds of Kavinsky. Director - Nicolas Winding Refn DOP - Newton Thomas Sigel
you are actually right. Ryan Gosling was so perfect for this role ( apart from his good looks he carried the role of mysterious and intriguing guy with shear patience and fire ) . This Aziz Ansari wala comment just does not do justice for his efforts in the film!!!
standard song for loners who fall in love with married women with kids and then end up helping the family be together, because in the end, some men are just honest. Pure of heart. Nothing but love, in abundance inside them, and it is so great , that same love, that it gives them the strength and capacity to fight the world. Nothing can stand in their way. Powerful. Beautiful. Simple love.
@@Rabbit_585 love is no selfishness because it requires patience, sacrifice and compromise. simps dont do that shit. dont compare what u know nothing about
I listen to it every time I drive alone in my car at night. Makes me feel like I, too, am in a movie. Makes me feel like a total and complete badass. The road seems to be spreading out in front of you when you listen to it when the city lights are passing you by and you are just driving!
The look he gives her at the end of this video is heartbreaking. He knew he did the right thing, but it meant saying goodbye to the man she thought she knew.
I saw Drive in 2011 in theaters, I heard this song in the opening scene and I never forgot it. 12 years later and I still listen to it. Interesting how certain things you just keep in your memory forever and they stay with you.
@noahtek1101. 6 years ago i was at an outside establishment drinking lager with friends. An older gentleman (stranger) decided to join our group. He smelt like hed shit himself so my friend related this to him. He then proceeded to pull his trousers and pants down spread his bumcheeks and shout "i bloody havent shit myself..LOOK!" I was unfortunate enough to be sitting behind him and seen his bumhole! So i agree there are certain things you see in life that stay with you that you'll never ever forget!.
Yet there are tons of videos online referencing this movie with millions of views on them....you are looking to be edgy with your choices. They aren't, you're not anything special. Get over yourself. You're just like everybody, youre just as shit, just as common.
My kids introduced me to this song that I love now. I admire my kids choices of music. My son doesn’t have many friends bcuz he says they consider him weird bcuz he likes alternative music. Oh well, their loss. He’s awesome.
The loneliness of the song is just heartbreaking and DRIVE gets even more georgeous with every time I watch it. It is a real masterpiece and truly shows what it means to be human
I'm giving you a night call to tell you how I feel (We'll go all, all, all night long) I want to drive you through the night, down the hills (We'll go all, all, all night long) I'm gonna tell you something you don't want to hear (We'll go all, all, all night long) I'm gonna show you where it's dark, but have no fear (We'll go all, all, all night long) There's something inside you It's hard to explain They're talking about you, boy But you're still the same There's something inside you It's hard to explain They're talking about you, boy But you're still the same I'm giving you a night call to tell you how I feel (We'll go all, all, all night long) I want to drive you through the night, down the hills (We'll go all, all, all night long) I'm gonna tell you something you don't want to hear (We'll go all, all, all night long) I'm gonna show you where it's dark, but have no fear (We'll go all, all, all night long) There's something inside you It's hard to explain They're talking about you, boy But you're still the same There's something inside you It's hard to explain They're talking about you boy But you're still the same There's something inside you (there's something inside you) It's hard to explain (It's hard to explain) They're talking about you boy (They're talking about you boy) But you're still the same
This song, if you have mental health problems, is the classic example of ‘a moth to a flame’. It is soul destroyingly sad, emotional and melancholic, yet I cant stop listening to it.
There’s an artist from wales , While stylistically quite different , still has elements of electronic, hip hop , Acapella, amazing Rhyme schemes, acoustic guitar and has suffered through brain trauma and depression , I also think an auto immune disease try look into some songs , his names REN, songs like “hi ren” ‘diazepam’ and Su*cide” really hit her his ability to transcend genres and teach men young and old is amazing , very inspiring ! I hope things are better for you 👍

Kavinsky is a character made by Vincent Belorgey that has a striking resemblance to Vincent himself but the backstory does not follow anything in Belorgey's history. Kavinsky's story is that after crashing his Testarossa in 1986, he reappeared as a zombie in 2006 to make his own electronic music. Kavinsky's songs help tell his story; Vincent claims in an interview, "'Night Call' is just about the zombie guy [who] goes to his girlfriend's house and says okay I'm not the same, we need to talk", referring to Kavinsky going back to find his girlfriend after the crash who has already moved on with her life.
This song is very deep but takes you to very strange places, sort of like Twin Peaks songs. You never know if you really want to be in that place for too long.
Ein Lied das ich von meiner Jugendliebe gezeigt bekommen habe ebenso wie den Film und ,,a real hero“ , es lässt mich zurück reisen … Ich höre es sehr gerne ❤
There's a lot of Drive vids with this song, but yours is the best!!! I love how it had a clear narrative and the clips were chosen and synced perfectly!!! :)
1 of the very few movies ever to receive a standing ovation @ Cannes.... I watched this flying from LA to Auckland & literally jumped out of my seat with astonishment when it ended.... masterpiece!
More dialogue would have ruined this film (imo). I appreciated how their love is revealed in the way they just stare at each other. Also, wow this song is decadent 🖤💔

While I don't know what's going on with life, I do know that this movie has brought a feeling in me that I strive for. I drive for work, I drive for family, and I drive as a hobby. But after all this, I think I'm gonna drive for me, and only me. I'm done doing life the way everyone wants it to be. I wonna start doing it the way I want it to be. Soon, I'll be racing and riding away from all my problems 'till my past can't be seen in the rear view mirror.
Irene at 1:56 Watching Benicio with the Driver, it was suddenly so clear. The Driver, would never stop. It would never leave him, and it would never hurt him, never shout at him, or get drunk and hit him, or say it was too busy to spend time with him. It would always be there. And it would die, to protect him. Of all the would-be fathers who came and went over the years, this thing, this Driver, was the only one who measured up. In an insane world, it was the sanest choice.
What a phenomenal movie Drive is. That last scene of him knowing that he will never see or be the same with her ever again was hard to watch.. He has to move on. And so does she.
