The Kawai CA59 is a new model introduced in 2020 and is part of the Kawai Concert Artis series. The CA59 is equipped with the Kawai Grand Feel Compact keyboard and offers a great choice of acoustic pianos sounds, as well as other instruments.

Great video, thanks ! I'm a bit disappointed there is no mention of the Virtual Technician menus, especially the "Voicing" menu with options like Normal, Mellow, Bright and Dynamic (the latter being particularly exciting).

I played CA 49 and CLP-785, I honestly think Kawai's action is much much better than Yamaha's, there is no comparison to be honest

Though I have not tried both of them, I have been told the kawai's action is a lot better however the Yamaha has better speakers

I wouldn't doubt any second. The Kawai sound is way better. But... that said, it is all subjective.

The piano i had before was bought second hand but it still delivered, the piano was a CASIO Privia PX-150

What is the story with the different colored sections on top of the piano? I assume the rear portion is sort of a sound bar, it looks like it might be a cloth material. Is that correct or is it solid?

On thing that is worth mentioning is that when we visit a showroom with Kawai products, we tend to try their best product i.e. CA99 and somewhat imagine that their lower models would produce sound as good as CA99’s spruce soundboard. They do not.

Hello, the CA-59 Model is on sale throughout Kawai in the city I live in. When I went to buy it, the staff at the store recommended Model CN-301 for the same price. He directed me to buy the CN-301 because it was newer and had better key sensitivity. They told me that since the CA-59 Model was no longer produced, they were selling the last remaining stocks at a discount. They insisted that the CN-301 was also a pretty good new model. If anyone knows about these models, please advise me. Should I buy CN-301 or CA-59 for the same price?

I had the same dilemma and went with the CA59. (CN301 should be compared to the CA49, not CA59). To be delivered tomorrow 🤞. CA59 has more functionality, wooden keys, better speakers, and more connectivity options (I was told). 30% discount for a new but 2-3 year old model seemed like an uptick compared to a new but lesser functional version. I hope it was the right choice.

@jamesonkismetbell1147 same boat. Have the CA59 for 2.8k or the 745 for 3.8k. I believe it should be a no brainer. Wish i could find a CA79 at discount.

Kawai CA-59 vs. Roland LX705/706? I like the controls better on the Roland. Think the Kawai is a little old looking. But like the Kawai key feeling.
