In this video I show you how to make a star charm bracelet using shrink plastic and UV resin from a Japanese kit I got from the Sophie & Toffee website. This was my first time using shrink plastic, and I found it really fun to use!
You may have received a similar Japanese craft kit in the January 2017 Elves Subscription Box, so the same techniques can be applied if you weren't sure on it/haven't used it yet :)

This shrink plastic is from when I was a kid. In the states we call them 'Shrinky Dinks' and on the official website you can buy all sorts of different kinds, some colored, some to go in your inkjet printer, etc. I used them to make charms with my art on them years ago.

I've seen those UV flashlights tons of times for cheap prices but I never thought they would work for Resin! Wow, how long do you shine the charms for?

Krayows crafts I actually put mine out in the sun as well, but around 10ish minutes depending on thickness like already mentioned :) you can gently touch it with a toothpick or something to check if it's hardening :D

I actually really like Sophie and toffee, some of their prices do look high but when you compare them to other prices they are really quite good and great quality. I’m sorry you feel this way about them but you do not neeed to comment that as it could really hurt or damage someone’s self esteem and feelings. Thnx

So cute. try a heat gun, hair dryer on gentle setting or just the heat over a toaster (yes a toaster. used to get "shrinky dinks" in cereal boxes) to shrink the plastic.

harvestkitty i dont think blacklight lamp has strong enough UVs. I actually got a 9LED UV torch but it doesnt work on my Daiso UV resin 😢 so I think it may just be a blacklight flashlight. Dont get cheap ones off ebay guys 😅

TeeLMat you can't really make your own oven bake clay, but you can make your own air dry clay- it's called cold porcelain and other people have some tutorials on how to make it :)
