Nope. Hes better. A. Einstein was only a theoretician. He just invented some ideas and dindt actually put them into use. Allen think of ideas and then put them into practice.
Wow!!! Those country roads are sooooo narrow. It's a good thing you were on a motorcycle when that big bus came along, because there was not enough room for a car to make it past the bus. Awesome project, I really like the two stroke builds. I really wish that a two stroke non-hydrocarbon oil could be developed, so that two stroke street bikes could prowl the highways again. I really miss them, but thanks to you, they still live!!
I once met a guy in the 90s, Joe (never knew his last name) a Honda mechanic who had a shop on the north side of Brisbane (Redcliffe area). That guy knew how so many bike parts were interchangeable with different ones, his knowledge was simply jaw dropping. He worked with a lot of the open wheeler race car guys who used to pick his brains about setting up their motorcycle engine powered cars with all sorts of different parts...
Ah yes! The Machinery's Handbook. Not surprised to see you with this invaluable resource. Another great video Allen, thanks for taking the time to make & show these to us mere mortals.
Working with your hands make you a worker, add your brain and you are an engineer. Add your hearth, and you are an artist. Allen, you are truly the artist, I am well pleased watching your videos.
When he pull the throttle.... on the straight road.... I'm smiling. Litteraly. Remember that old days, when I'm riding a Yamaha RX King, well it's single cyl. But man.... It fly.... Thanks for the nostalgic feeling... 😄
No idea why but I missed this video and only just watched it now. Just been reading about the H2B/C having a four outlet pump after you saying it…. You learn something every day, never knew that! 👍🏻 That really comes alive after 6,000 rpm. Quite addictive to ride I’d imagine. ☺️
Wow another masterpiece will done Allen, and it looks just right like it was a factory bike as always, and sounds fantastic, I wish you was my best mate and lived next door 👍🇬🇧⚙️🔩🔧 cheers Martin.
Amazing how clean the engine sounds at low revs as you accelerate - the jetting sounds spot-on. A lovely, unique bike, and I am getting all misty-eyed and nostalgic! Great stuff.
I got an advert just as Alan was opening the bike up on acceleration. An advert for a Cadbury best inventor competition, first name that popped in my head Alan 👍😊 You are a genius
pretty awesome bike, I wanted to do a LC conversion on a Rd engine years ago but couldn't think of a way to create a water pump, the way you design this engine is ingenious!
After viewing this, me bringing a fifty year old tractor back to life, seems more like finger painting in preschool. I am in awe of your talent and skills!
this is beyond amazing! and she sounds so sweet, I'm sure it's an other worldly feeling to ride a bike you built (as opposed to reassembled, which is what most "rebuilds" are) yourself!
You present your phenominal work in such a relaxed, unique, humble manor that it deflects the magnitude of your genius. These videos are such a pleasure to view, thank you. Regards Gareth Wiltshire UK. Gratitude. Quality.
Sheer genius 👌. Happy memories of 2 stroke domination in the 70's til the emission laws started kicking in😭. Loved my RD350 .....as did the petrol stations ! What's the fuel consumption like on this one ? ATVB from sunny Malaysia 😎😷🇲🇾
@@paulluce2557 Fun never comes cheap :-). My RD350 was mid 30's to the gallon at best back in the day 😱... my mate's S2 350 Kawasaki triple usually less than 20 mpg. Happy days 🤘👍
My first “big” bike was a ‘72 Kawasaki 350 triple that taught me pretty quick what a powerband was!😱, but enjoyed it so much, I went out and bought myself a brand new 1976 Yamaha RD400c ( paid $1,350 Canadian brand new!) , try that today. Miss those riceburners…..
Absolutely brill......the only downside to that vid was we couldn't smell it!! Ahhh the two strokes of my yoof........250 and 350LC's, 350 YPVS, RD500LC and RG500.....Yeehaa. All fed on Silkolene's finest!!
I just watched this video again. I enjoy it almost like I'm on the bike. What a great sounding two stroke. Allen just created the prototype to a line of bikes the Japanese should've made.
If I was your neighbor I would be watching closely 24/7/365 . Man you have divine skills and knowledge and by God almighty would I love to learn just a fraction of all this. 🙏❤👍💪 absolutely brilliant Thanks for sharing
Allen you are an inspiration to all us 'men in sheds' trying to fix things ourselves.. a humble genius sharing his work.. and all in a small domestic garage.. Kudos!
Got a notice for a new video from Allen...dropped everything to watch...you sir are a humble genius! Love your videos! Can’t wait to see what you come up with next
You should make a v6 or v8 version of this. That would be awesome. Water or air, or both. Keep it up, the more the merrier. Dang, everything you touch becomes a work of art. Oh, and I dig your phone and radio too.
What the heck does he see when he opens his eyes? I'd love him to do a Vulcan mind meld on me! A true innovator whose connection between his mind and hands is faultless. Thankyou so much for posting your genius.
Love your videos! You are an inspiration to me that ANYTHING can be accomplished. You are a natural teacher and should be considered a NATIONAL TREASURE to all things mechanical. Would love to see you on Jay Leno’s show.
I converted my KH250 to an S2 350 years back easier than I thought as the pistons barrels and head just fitted, it was a flying machine that used to eat LCs, the most amazing thing was I only had a few spanners and a cheap socket set to do the job.
OK, that is incredible! I thought I knew all the bikes you had made. I was wrong. The amount of engineering involved in building this bike is, I'm sure, lost on most people, even if that's not what you call it. I am in awe.
If I had a chance to ride any one of Allen's bikes it would be this one. An inline four across the frame water cooled two stroke? Yes please! I've always loved my two smokes.
Awesome! I’m right back in ‘80 and wishing Kwack had had the sheer audacity to create this then. Great work Alan, you are a petrolhead God, one day all this glory will be a wistful memory……sad, but true. RIDE FREE!
and we have a winner, i finally figured out which of your builds is my favorite, ironically i've been passing over this video because i didn't get it, i saw the kawi h1 500 and thought whats the big deal, kawi already made a 500 h1, the four cyl didn't register until tonight when i decided to finally watch the video, the opening shot of the bike made me go, wait WTF, kawi never made an h1 with water cooled cylinders, what my eyes were seeing didn't match what my head was remembering and i literately was confused for a minute until i could process what you had done, you tilted me dude....lol
One of commentators said millyard genius ,may upset Yamaha and Kawasaki ,my comment is ,so what they've been.upsetting Thier buyers for years by making what they want as cheaply as they can and selling it To us for as much as they can,and playing the almighty one when.challenged by enthusiasts with comments like no cosit can't be Done no, not ever. Well now avery.gifted Genius hasn't told but shown them What is possible .may be this is good for Joe public.customer,if i were a maker of motorbikes Mr millyard would be my new best mate ,maybe with offers of development engineer ,but closef
@@davidshattock9522 i don't think you meant to post this comment as a reply to me, you should cut and paste it again in the general comment section so others can read it,,,,
Ahhhh.....that's the sound !! Compared to the S2 4 cylinder this is a much deeper note, of course. It's amazing with those water cooled cylinders how you can actually hear the rest of the engine and exhaust working so much better. The stock air cooled cylinders always radiate sooooo much noise on the 3 cylinder Kwaks....and it would be worse on a 4 cylinder. Brilliant work on the conversion of those brand y cylinders......and creating the crank to match. I love your modesty in the throwaway line about making the brand y crank fit in the Kwakker cases. I can't begin to imagine the hours/days involved in getting that whole thing exactly right. Kudos to you for such a special.....well.....special. LOL
If i ever buy a bike it will be one you built sir. I love the Flying Millyard a lot (i have a thing for vintage bikes). And this bike sou ds absolutely amazing for a 2 stroke
YES ALLEN, THIS IS THE VIDEO I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR !! Ever since I learned about the "Kenny Roberts" Yamaha TZ 750, I've had a serious thing for 4 cylinder 2 cycle engine powered bikes. They sound so much more pleasant and balanced.
Hi Allen, you are a genius, I have owned loads of Kawasaki’s, had a Mach 3 in the seventies wish I hadn’t sold it. Thinks it’s still about currently scorned. Reg nfe737j own a zzr1100c2 done 28k from late nineties not selling it as it’s too good and worth very little.
