I ran this same model for several hours, tons of power but ours ate up transmissions like crazy. We also had the exact model that was a rubber tire dozer version.
It happened more than once, not sure on the hours but the machine was not even a year old and on its 3rd or 4th transmission! I cant remember exactly. The problem did get resolved eventually but it still ate up the crank position sensors like crazy, imagine one of those giant cummins engines shooting flames out of the exhaust. At one point I remember seeing a group of Japanese guys in the shop trying to figure out why their loader kept eating transmissions.
720 hp of Cummins diesel fury, not to mention 2400 lb-ft @ 1300! The kawi brochure says the Cummins QST30 can be turned up to 1050hp! 12.8 cu yard bucket correct? I havent seen these much, how do you like it?
