ride both to believe it, dont go by youtube videos. I own a Ninja 500 and I am more than happy paying that extra money for peace of mind and reliability. Aprilia is yet to prove that in India. Service network will be a challenge too. What is attractive on first look may not attract in long term.

U have to be such a shill for not understanding kawaski is giving bike which doesn't sell abroad and dump it in India at exorbitant price ex showroom itself like Yamaha bikes like mt-03 but no u have to take dig at govt but not at brands which overcharge us . Get some sense

@@hurtlocker9600 i suggest you check the government import taxation policy. You'll get a good idea. For example how much % government imposes tax on CBU, CKD units etc.

this is a brand new Ninja 500 so it's not left over inventory. Left over inventory will be the ninja 400 which they are still selling. Zx4r is a different breed probably why it's doing okay not so good as z900 and they brought the RR variant not the SE, SE variant is a different one which sits below RR and is not available in India.

If the check engine light was on, judging the engine right away is too quick-negative marketing.

@@FasBeam yes as an avid rider of twin & single cylinders & preferring the refinement of twins like you unf i can something is off with the 500...even something like overfilled eng oil or tyre balance can make huge change .and im saying that after knowing that even twins vib at 6km, ppl used to car or inline 4 think kawa twin won't vibrate but they do at certain rpm eg 6k-redline. 500 being even more bore & torque y so needing less rpm yet vibing this much means bad unbreakin test bike .this review really putss off one from buying when the 500 ninja huge usability & torque upgrade over nin 300, r3 which you have to wring neck to get any performances after 7k rpm. big fan , always love your takes even if some of them are car performances /luxury biased

Check engine light at 6.6 lakh, and people still support kawasaki. There is no limits to fanboyism, I guess 🤣🤣

I have ridden both the ninja 500 and the rs457, the vibrations on the ninja at higher revs are really really bad. In contrast the ninja 300 felt much better. I would only reccomend the ninja 500 over the Aprilia if you are a beginner and this would be your first bike.

Compared to this ninja….it has more equipment and feels better priced (not vfm still). The ninja feels overpriced because the aprilia is a better bike at 1.5 lakhs cheaper, while the nx 500 doesn’t have any direct rivals. And the himalayan 450 cannon be compared because this is a twin and feels like a much higher quality product.

Same here, but when I asked in showroom they said currently there’s no plan of launching krt edition for 500, although it’s cbu still we can’t get green shade imported in India

Go for Aprilia and then in few years decide if you want to upgrade. Right now Aprilia is the only bike that makes sense or triumph to some extent.
