Gotta say this time, they nailed the realistic speed sense. In Ride 4 going 200kmph literally feels like going 100kmph on real life.. but on Ride 5 its nearly spot on. All they need to do now is make screen more shaky in those speeds and also upgrade the bikes sound to be more agressive
Ride 5 is by far the best racing game. I finished career mode. Now I have 1,450,000$ credits and own almost every bike. Now I just do single races. Great game. 1st person in helmet view is the best camera angle. The view in this video is 2nd from last before the helmet view.
the first 7 seconds i thought this was real life! daam that speed sense and camera shake is dead on. but now that i know its game I NEED TO PLAY THIS ASAP
This footage looks pretty similar to TT Isle of Man 3, that has an actual "open world" setting for the career mode. I put it in quotations because it's still kinda closed off and in a race configuration, but you can take turns down different roads as you like. Similar looking environment as well.
This looks incredible mate!!! Makes me think how absolutely insane that TT must be driving at speeds like this on normal roads!! Looks frightening enough on this 😄
@gtaplayproplays6212 have you put the best brake upgrade on the H2R?. And yea the braking can be pretty bad for some bikes but the H2R is pretty crazy fast so it takes a lot for time to brake 🤣like it would in real life. And depending on what your physics setting is on (realism or arcade) then wheelies will be a lot harder if not on the more realistic setting. But there's a lot more room for error on the harder setting.
Thanks for the gameplay footage! I saw a clip of Ride 4 on Twitter and went straight to put it and this game in my wishlist. Is it worth getting both games? The only reason I would do so is for the tracks exclusive to each game.
Ride 5 has some updated tracks and few new ones but honestly not much. If you wanna save money you'll have the exact same experience with ride 4. Ride 4 has better visuals too at certain points. Ride 5 has newer model bikes. But there's not much of a change. Both of them are great.
Hi. I started playing this gam today. I feel like I am going 40km/h but in speedo meeter it will be around 120. The driving feels like I am operating some complicated machine. I didn't find this much trouble even in real life.
If you had to pick a motorcycle game which would you recommend ? I’ve been playing nfs heat for awhile already and want to play something with motorcycles
Hey man. All depends on your style. If you like openworld games I'd recommend the crew motorfest because it's extremely fun and addicting. Its more arcade vibes. the bike customization is so good as well. But if you prefer simracing then You might enjoy Ride 4 or Ride 5. Ride 5 has a little graphics upgrade but it's basically the same game as ride 4 if you want to save some money.
@@theonlydriver I’ll probably buy both but get ride 4 first before the new crew game. Love open world driving when it comes to nfs. The racing aspect In ride will be the fun part. Thank you!
These are the type of assets for games we dying for an need to much cheesy cars an bikes that’s just always an issue but the driving an engine sounds superb A1, the physics is excellent I wouldn’t be shocked if this guy charges 300 easy for a fully function grade A quality release your work many on 5.3 unreal are waiting on things like this an don’t want to wait till next year
very nice ride bro 👍👍 I'm a huge fan of ride 4 (and ninja H2R), I think what makes it great is throttle management, is very realistic. You have to calibrate very well like on a real bike, if you go from zero to full throttle you tip over in a second. Same for wheelie, a delicate work of calibration between the back lever and the throttle. In moto gp 22/23 is not like that, zero to full and bike moves gradually...more "arcade" than realistic for me. Yeah easier to play, but c'mon that's not realistic at all. So I could not wait to buy ride 5, and I did. Of course is very similar to ride 4 but graphics, lights management and details in motion are better to me. Even more realistic. BUT QUESTION IS: am I dreaming (a fucking nightmare) or now throttle management has changed to the "arcade" one?? I can go from zero to full throttle and bikes do not tip over, just moves gradually. I can even wheelie for the all track putting back the lever, and bike magically stops in the right position and do not fall backwards .... please tell me they didn't do any shit like that, that it's just due to some option I can deactivate
I agree with you 100% . The game does feel and look really great. I did notice under riding aids there are settings for gameplay physics and body position physics. If you set all of those to simulation then it really does touch on realistic riding for sure. And more so than motogp gameplay. I can definitely it's much harder to control the bike on Ride 5 especially if you have physics on simulation under the riding aids.
@@theonlydriver hi, thanks for the answer. But now I'm even more worried, I tell you why..on the riding aids, two params for throttle control, "automatic throttle" and "acceleration input modulation". When I saw them I thought "ok that's why when I go to zero (bike stopped) to full throttle, in Ride 4 it behaves realistically - bike overturned - while in Ride 5 do not, just accelerate gradually (not realistic, like Moto GP). I have to deactivate them both". Well, I deactivated them both...I even put preset to "Pro" (the most extreme drivin mode) BUT IT STILL goes on to accelerate gradually going from zero to full throttle. NOT like ride 4 anymore!! So they really changed this way throttle on ride 5???
Same test, bike stopped. Then throttle button on pad all down, fully pushed, so engine from zero directly to maximum rpm. Ride 4: bike tips backwards (like in reality) Ride 5: bikes start running, gradually, it doesn't even wheelie. EVEN with those throttle aids deactivated, even with any aid deactivated
This is a beautiful game especially on my computer that has the RTX 3090 Ti, it looks better in 4K than on a PS5,. I have around 100 FPS with everything on max in 4K which is more than playable. The only thing I do not like with this game that is a problem with most racing games is that the brakes are not very realistic, you can brake much harder and stop much faster IRL, also I wish these games had besides the normal track riding a map with a city where you could free roam more, like a small open world. That is what makes riding motorcycles in The Crew 2 so much more fun, to just set the gps far away and free roam. I get that it takes a long time to create an open world like in The Crew 2 for example. But they would not have to make it so advanced, just a big town you could ride around in with some other NPC cars and bikes would be enough. Also the rider is taking his foot off the back-brake when stomping on the brakes before taking a right turn is not how you would ride a supersport bike on a track, maybe on a supermoto haha.
@@theonlydriver Yeah It sure would make it a much better game, did you ever try to ride the Ninja h2 in the Crew 2 and freeroam ? It is pure joy man, if you have not tried it, try it and tell me what you think of it :D
@mathias6423 I have tried it , I made a video on it too! I definitely enjoy causing on the H2 in the crew motorfest and the stunt riding feel is quite cool with the wheelies. And the Turbo sounds are great!🤣. But ride just feels a little more exciting.
No , it's more like freeplay. You can set up a time trial on the open race tracks and cruise on them as much as you want. But no cities and no traffic.
Unfortunately it doesn't , You have to set it up your self to ride alone. What I do is I choose single race. Choose the track , then go to race settings and change the laps to as much as possible, then change opponents to only 1 , then turn off your HUD . Then you can pretty much ride the track as much as your want . The best maps are under Europe (southern 100 , North west, and ulster ). Hope this helps man 🙏. For me personally the best open world bike game at the moment is the crew motorfest
Hey there! Brand new sub here. Love the content! As an avid 1st person lover, would you say that Ride 5 is better than 4? Prize for 5 is still pretty deep 😅 Also is there anyone on online these days? Thanks a bunch in advance!
Thanks man appreciate it big time 🙏. To be very honest , Ride 4 is so similar. One thing Ride 5 got right is 1. They made the sense of speed a whole lot better!. 2. The new 2023 models bikes are really cool 3. And some new tracks. Other than that the games are so identical. Personally I would wait for it to go on sale if you have Ride 4 already. One thing I love in ride 4 is the night time rainy rides. Rain in ride 5 is very disappointing.
Sup man. so there isn't actually freeroam. You have to set it up your self to ride alone. What I do is I choose single race. No mods what so ever. There's no actual freeroam mode. But there are was to set the tracks up in such a way where you can ride them as much as you want with no limitations.
@wolfslayer7276 basically what I do is I select race , under race settings I change opponents 1 , I select as much laps as possible , I turn off the restrictions and I also turn off the HUD. And that's about. The best maps are north west 200 , ulster GP and Southern 100 under the Europe league. Some DLC maps are awesome too.
Thanks man🙏. So there isn't actually freeroam. You have to set it up your self to ride alone. What I do is I choose single race. The rider cam in replay is perfect, if it was usable in gameplay, in ride4 it isnt and most in bike pov suck in it. Does ride5 have this same pov for gameplay? I notice the on bike pov you're using seems better maybe to what's in r4. But still not as good as tht replay cam.
Bro to be honest not at all 😹. The game is so similar to Ride 4. I think the only difference is the new model of bikes. Other than I can't say it's better than Ride 4. I am a little disappointed in the game.
@@theonlydriver Your opinion changed? In another comment, a later comment, you say "hey really did! Feels way better than ride 4". Which is it? Because I am also not sure I want to get the game. I like realistic braking. Is the braking different? Do the front wheels lock if you press the front brake too much, like the MotoGP games?
@zuhairreza hey man, sorry about the confusion. Overall what's in the game is Basically the exact same as ride 4. That's what I meant by the comment . However, I will say that the overall physics has definitely improved. It feels closer to motogp and harder to play. And the graphics are a little more crisp. As well the new model of bikes. Hope this helps. Basically if you have the money to get ride 5 and don't mind a mostly similar experience but with a couple things better here there it's worth it. But if you value your money ride 4 is still absolutely solid and I will still be making videos on it👊
Hi can you tell if this bike game lets you remap Accelerate / Braking / Steering to your D-Pad and is there Driver Assistance for the bike and Auto gears? I’m disabled so I can only use the D-Pad
Hey man. You can actually re-map Steering to the depad. I just changed Steering to left and right on the depad as well as accelerate to the up button on the depad and it's possible. Hope this helps 🙏😎
@@theonlydriver Ok thanks bro, what about Driver Assist? Also I personally can’t do the shifting your weight thing to help the bike lean more on bends, can the game help you with this or isn’t this bit in this bike game? I love GT7 and I love how mad Motorfest is but I love bikes and I want a GT7 for bikes etc
@@KainsTormentit has riding assists toom you can set the physics level to be easier and it also has leaning aids , braking aids , and accelerator ones so it has pretty much everything you're loving for 😎. GT7 is great 🔥

@@theonlydriver Ah I see... thank you for the detailed explanation, I really appreciate it. Hopefully in future games they'll incorporate a freeroam feature akin to Test Drive series but for bikes.
How you do this type of pov view. I mean how you made that distance between the bike and the helmet so that the tank of the bike is visible? And also tell me which time it is in the game ?
Hey man , so you're gonna laugh but the way to get that POV is to hold the right analog stick down 🤣. Then you get that that extended kind of pov. It's doesn't affect body position or top speed.
@@theonlydriverwhom are you telling I also do the same thing on my keyboard🤣🤣 I thought you did some modding to get that view🤣🤣I did the same thing in ride 4 also😂
@fair2007 haha no ways 🤣. Thought I was the only one 🤣. There's a mod on racedepartment for ride 4 where it removes the helmet on the helmet camera mode. It's also quite cool.
@@theonlydriver Curious if the FOV mod still works for R5 like in R4. It was the best mod for first person gameplay. Couple that with the look down trick and it can make playing fpv even easier.

Dang! This looks so COOL! Is there like a realistic mode though??? You got into the gravel so to speak a few times there, and that would have definitely sent you sliding to say the least. Don't edit it out! Let us see you getting better! This looks so real... It's amazing. Subbed for more! Thank You for sharing!
Thank you man!. There is yes , I turned the physics simulation off for the off track aid so that I don't keep falling in the videos. But I'm thinking I should , it will be entertaining to watch😅👍. Thanks again !
Sup bro. So it's a funny way to do it 🤣 but basically all I do is I hold my right analog stick down and the rider looks more in the direction of the bike. It doesn't affect speed or riding. Just the camera.
To be very honest it's super hard to make money in ride 5. What I've found to be the easistest is I go the the last race in the Aprilia tuono 660 category under the career mode. It's the shortest and easiest to do. But I have the extra credits dlc (its very cheap). And then I get double money on the races.
@@theonlydriver yeh same I got the premium, i figured just putting every assist on it can do most races on its own and I can adjust the steering a tad and it works pretty good
How do you adjust the '' FOV In First Person View '' Im in RIDE 4 and i dont know how to get high FOV on 1st Person View, High FOV in 1st Person View Can u tell me how to do it?
Unfortunately there isn't a way to change the FOV. You're going to laugh , but how I get my FOV is by pulling down on the right analog stick at all times 🤣. Then It has a more central FOV. In ride 4 there used to be a camera mod on Race Department website but that has been removed Unfortunately.
@@theonlydriver Hey whats up 🤙Thank u for the quick reply. Do you mean the world tours in career mode? Wich one has the route? Im sure its quite far back. Ive only just unlocked accelerate.
@@theonlydriver thank you very much i appreciated ❤️❤️❤️yeah its too similar the sounds graphics little bit more real in ride 5 especially on reving then you give throttle in ride 4 cuts the sound and their new bikes only
@@theonlydriver - makes sense, thank you for your response…. Can you ride the track in reverse? Because that would essentially open up double the tracks in the game
If wanna save Money you can get ride 4 on special it's usually like 3 dollars. It's basically the exact same as ride 5. But the ride games are quite a good game for bike lovers. The Crew motorofrst is also good but pretty pricey. There isn't an actually freeroam mode in ride 5 . But you can set it up to ride alone like I did in the tracks. But ride 5 is a little more focused on realism .
In ride 4 . Sunrise looks much more beautiful! As well as the sunset)))). I played ride 5 for a week and am playing ride 4 again. More fun... Yes, there are more light options in ride 5. But the sky is terrible (((. And the weather always changes in one direction.. but in ride 4, where the weather can be absolutely random over time..

00:01 - 00:08 very accurate when i first bought my bike I took it to its max 230KPH and remember thinking Holy fuck I'm here already from the corner to a part of road that would have taken a lot longer to get there and was like I better stop if a deer runs in middle of road at this speed IM FUCKED 😳 but haven't seen any video that represents that speed like in the beginning portion of this video like the reality I experienced until now
@@theonlydriver I'd say don't buy the liter bike right away TOOMUCHPOWER get a 600CC first take it to its max learn how to ride first the 600CC will still blow your mind and a great learner bike then when your ready after a year of riding even just a few hours ride time you'll feel the bike
@jiggalojonski shot man , na what I mean is I want to experience 300km/h on the road on a liter bike. I grew up riding bikes , I raced dirt bikes as a kid. Had a 125cc that I rode to school and eventually got into track racing in the classic category. I owned a Suzuki rgv 250 and a 1990 gsx-r750. But never pushed more than second 200km/h. But like I said hopefully one day as the channel grows 🔥
The last timeno checked I used to install the mod from race department. But I can't find it anywhere anymore. I think they took it down. That was the only mod i used on ride 4.
Hey man , so there isn't a freeroam option for any platform. You have to set it your self in a way.
